Scandinavian,

PMDG team,

If you don't mind (I imagine not) please update your loyal users.

I didn't see anyone "demanding" anything just a simple question in fact. Just try not to get upset about the whole search function thing. Just beacause you get upset it doesn't make you right.

If that's aimed at me, I disagree.

Granted, they respectfully asked for an update, it's still at the very least a request. To me, however, if you're making a request for yourself even though everyone's been updated, you're assuming you're somehow more special than others, and therefore being demanding. That is to say, they believe they shouldn't have to go looking into the already released sticky/pinned updates like everyone else, rather, they should receive a direct reply from the PMDG team.

...and I may not be right by you, but if that's your opinion, then we should go by this new socially acceptable norm of everyone asking for their own personal updates. I'm not going to read your thread and its associated update because it was yesterday, I want my own update today, because it's more up to date and I don't want to look around for the info.

Yeah, let's see how that goes...really? Come on now. Asking people to look around them first isn't too much to ask.

This Scandinavian13 kid is a jerk. Many of his 2800 posts are sarcastic rants towards other users. When I click on a topic and see him in it I simply leave. This is supposed to be a place where we can ALL learn and help each other without childish drama. Reminds me of a wanna be cop we see at the range. I have questions I'd like to ask but dont because I know people like this will put me on blast for asking something I "should" already know if I were as smart as they. I wonder how many fellow simmers have hesitated to ask for help or join in the topic at hand simply because of people like this. Nice friendly community. Blah.

First, not a kid.

Second, (and mostly because you accused me a being a wannabe cop), sign your posts in accordance with forum rules. If you're going to accuse me as such, I might as well just keep going down that path, right?

Interestingly, many have noted I'm actually helpful, despite my terseness and sarcasm. Looks like you're just concentrating on the wrong ones. More interestingly, you normally see me and simply leave, yet you're leaving a comment 18 posts in...

It's not that I'm being a jerk, and I somehow expect unreasonable things. It's that I'm not blasting sunshine and rainbows in requesting what many others are thinking about, but just don't. I'll readily admit I'm not the nicest person, but I don't think I'm asking anything unreasonable...

Unfortunately this scandinavian is replying to all posts with useless long answers with empty content. He is not polite, not an expert in B737NGX and always replying to questions addressed to other people.

Maybe unemployed as he has enough time per day to bash all people in this forum for pure pleasure.

Oohhh Hunger Games!!! I'll get popcorn. I think I already know how some people are gonna die. I think I heard Tom sniffing around so we can expect some hangings...

Oddly enough, my original post that answered the question was shorter than your last post. Hmm. Odd. And I never claimed to be a 737 expert, so I have no idea where you dragged that up. Nor did I ever claim I was polite.

I don't bash people. It all starts out with me being pretty dry, if not a little terse, but I don't bash people. Then people pick at me for not using sunshine and rainbows in my post and I admittedly step down to the same level.

...and if you'd like to question my employment, you're welcome to contact the FAA.

If the search function was perfect, and any redundant question caused immediate banning, this entire website would only have a couple of hundred threads. Boring

Quite the contrary...if there weren't any redundant questions, people would have more time to participate in more educated conversations. And while I referenced the search function, I still provided the answer. My main issue with the discussion is expecting a personal update from the team. That's not really a scalable and practical solution.
