November 18, 201213 yr I honestly don’t know if I’m unimpressed or that my expectation was so high it could not be reached. Stephen Asus Z170 Deluxe, 32 GB DDR4 Dominator Platinum, i7 6700k mild overclock, GTX Titan ( Pascal ) Win10

November 19, 201213 yr I'm generally impressed with the overall look of the Orbx England - Hope it's as good 'in the flesh' Blackrat
November 19, 201213 yr What detail have they gone into with the airports? Have the default airports just been re-aligned?
November 19, 201213 yr Can't resist. Goodbye Horizon old mate. Hello The UK has already been done to a much better standard, but if you don't live here then FTX UK looks a bit like England and will probably be good enough. As someone who lives here I think I would rather fly over this: GENX + Treescapes + UK2000 VFR airfields, perfection
November 19, 201213 yr Too many post moves in my opinion. Something I am potentially interested in, invariably gets moved deep into the bowls of forums that I'll never dig in to. Not everything with the word ORBX has to be moved to an ORBX subforum, not everything with the words Captain Sim have to be moved to a Captain Sim forum. Sometimes it really is applicable in the general forum. +1 ....on a seperate note; don't listen to the naysayers here, whose expectations were too high in the first place. I've lived in England all my life, and I love the product; it's the best FTX region so far. To say it is full of bugs in utter tosh. (to quote a nice English colloquialism). November 19, 201213 yr To say it is full of bugs in utter tosh. (to quote a nice English colloquialism). ORBX has admitted to them. Those things you don't think are there. Well done.
November 19, 201213 yr ORBX has admitted to them. Those things you don't think are there. Well done. Orbx have not admitted that it is "full of bugs". They've acknowledged some areas that can be improved, which is normal for any new release..... So well done to you sir; you're coming across like a spoilt kid that didn't get enough candy from the sweetshop...... November 19, 201213 yr You were the one that called these errors "bugs". I thought rather than correcting your terminology I should just continue with the meat of the conversation. I was assuming you would understand, given you are the one who used that word. Clearly I was wrong as you've flung your word back in my face and then gone on to be insulting. I shall leave it there.
November 19, 201213 yr The fact is that FTX ENG is another outstanding scenery. It's vintage ORBX! Is it perfect? NO. But, they are willing to listen to their valued customers and improve the scenery. There's a reason why FTX ENG broke all sales records for ORBX. It wasn't just anticipated. It was confirmed by custmers like me who have the scenery and simply love it! I really hope that the ORBX haters find a different location to vent. MSFS
November 19, 201213 yr Bought it and loving it. There's some people complaining about what can't be helped but they're not fully aware of the limitations of FSX. Orbx are listening to constructive criticism and fixing anything that's been missed, so I'm happy. Some people want to the moon on a stick on release... though it'd be nice, it's not very realistic. All release software has bugs, especially when it's software that has to cover so much ground; but that's what patches are for. My hat off to them, they've done a great job. I hope they don't take the words of a few "grumpy" people to heart, and just continue their good work.
