November 25, 201213 yr Yeah I've heard of them from the Siemens guys here. Would be neat to see. There are some larger ones being developed for land but these already require about 50 acres to prevent wind being "stolen" from their neighboring turbines. Randy Swofford
November 25, 201213 yr And remember.. we can still spread the rumour that they don't 'collect' wind but.. produce it. :Hypnotized: Talking about chemtrails,this is a real big one. http://www.liveleak....=c95_1353790122 Looks amazing.
November 25, 201213 yr Those windmills remind me of this: http://www.xkcd.com/556/ Be sure to hover the mouse over the comic to see the extra text. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I'm going with a new theory that the more Windmills we produce, the more it will increase the coefficient drag on the planet. Therefore it will slow the rotation of Earth over time, or speed it up....I haven't decided yet. :Thinking: Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
November 26, 201213 yr Someone going: "Dude, if we mixed some aluminium into jet fuel, we could like totally stop global warming!" is not evidence of a chemtrail conspiracy. The only thing a patent means is that there was no prior art. You don't have to actually prove it would work. Cloud seeding exists. It is not evidence of a chemtrail conspiracy. Which parts of the 'global warming industry' are making zillions of dollars exactly? Last I checked working for an oil company pays a lot better than working for Greenpeace . I will agree with you that there is a lot of nonsense being spouted on both sides of the global warming debate though. My personal hypothesis on conspiracy theories is that people prefer to believe they live in an ordered universe, rather than in a place where things just happen due to random chance. The main problem I always have with conspiracy theories (apart from the lack of proper reasoning) is that they would require governments to exhibit a level of competence that they never show anywhere else. Governments are run by people just like us, not by perfect superhumans. Pretty unique indeed. Given the colour of the surrounding sky it looks like the plume was the right height to reflect the setting / rising sun, which can make contrails pretty orange / red looking. (See also the 'LA missile' nonsense last year). https://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&safe=off&tbo=d&sclient=psy-ab&q=al+gore+making+millions&oq=al+gore+making+millions&gs_l=hp.3..0i30l2.456973.460924.0.461047.23.16.0.7.7.2.350.4281.2-13j3.16.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.1.06FuVn6BazQ&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=56b6b113b36a72d7&bpcl=38897761&biw=1920&bih=955

November 26, 201213 yr Matthew has a point. We should watch that one. What about reverse-thrust then?
January 16, 201313 yr I saw this thread awhile ago and thought when I find this clip I'll post it: FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
January 16, 201313 yr Perhaps I'm missing something. What exactly does the topic have to do with Flight Simulation?
January 16, 201313 yr Erm, it's in the 'Hangar Chat' area so doesn't have to be about anything to do with planes, flight sims or the like...
