December 5, 201213 yr I'm gonna build a pool in my backyard and set it up as a scuba simulator. LOL! Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
December 6, 201213 yr I'm left with a vital question. Is there something like a scuba sim enthusiast? Soembody, somwhere, has probably asked the same question about flight sims...... We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. December 6, 201213 yr From a scuba sim enthusiast's perspective, I find flight sim fans very strange. -_- Jumping into my home sim (coll. 'shower') right now, later meeting with a Sims3 enthusiast. What a life! :lol:
December 6, 201213 yr Well seeing as I live on an island in the South Pacific....I am sure they may have a market for Scuba Simulation here as an educational tool. How many fight sim people bought Ship Simulator? I did by Ship Simulator and spent probably three 1 hour sessions before deciding it was boring. Parking Container Ships is not as much fun as landing the PMDG NGX. Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
December 6, 201213 yr Ship? Not yet. The only other sim I have is that regular guy managing his life around everyday problems in a new town, together with parts of his family. GTA IV.
December 6, 201213 yr Parking Container Ships is not as much fun as landing the PMDG NGX. For some people. One thing I really enjoyed about Silent Hunter 3 was taking the submarine into port and docking it, often at night and in bad weather where you really had to use the lighthouses to navigate, all by voice command from the bridge of the sub. Then back it out, turn it around, and back it back into the dock ready for the next mission. Impressed heck outta my son first time I demonstrated it for him. I did similar things with the sailing ships in Pirates of the Caribbean Community Build Mod. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
December 6, 201213 yr Ship? Not yet. The only other sim I have is that regular guy managing his life around everyday problems in a new town, together with parts of his family. GTA IV. I prefer simming my life with Red Dead Redemptions ranch missions. First time I was playing it rounding up and driving cattle I nearly threw the controller out the window. Randy Swofford
December 6, 201213 yr That Silent Hunter video actually looked really good. First time I was playing it rounding up and driving cattle I nearly threw the controller out the window. :lol: I'm still waiting for a lawyer simulator. You can read or create texts with a very small fond and tons of strange phrases. Later, you can send them to people or read them aloud to see how they react. There will also be a sue DLC. What a thrill! Anyone tried simulating tennis on a Wii lately? B)
December 6, 201213 yr Oh c'mon, you never played Sim Tower? It was an elevator simulation of all things. I was hoping for a traffic light simulator so I could tell if the city planners were intentionally making us stop at every light. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
December 6, 201213 yr It was an elevator simulation of all things. Finally! Lets dig deeper into that niche.
December 6, 201213 yr Lets dig deeper into that niche. Farming Simulator: http://www.farming-simulator.com/ I would probably have fun with it too....I like farms B) Ship? Not yet. The only other sim I have is that regular guy managing his life around everyday problems in a new town, together with parts of his family. GTA IV. +1 Big big fan of the GTA franchise. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
December 6, 201213 yr Lets dig deeper into that niche. It's kinda like Sim City in microcosm. Once you've designed a few buildings with complex elevator systems, learned to program them so you don't have a lot of unhappy tenants, figured out where to park the empty cars depending on the time of day, when to shut down or bring up additional cars as needed, planned express elevators for high floors and skipped some floors as needed, and had to deal with elevators that couldn't go to as many floors as a building needed, you get a feel for how elevators *should* be designed. If you've ever been upset because of a long wait in a building with only 4 floors, you'll understand the problem. After doing that, you might understand why I'm not all that impressed with programming a flight computer in a modern airliner. Hook Farming Simulator I enjoyed the heck outta Sim Farm. In fact, I had all the Sim XXX titles except Sim Isle and loved them all. Especially Sim Ant and Sim Life (a genetics simulator. "Pigs have mutated to fly" ). Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
December 6, 201213 yr You can sim farming in my tractor. Drives itself after a pass or two and you can pop in a DVD. Randy Swofford
December 6, 201213 yr You can sim farming in my tractor. Randy, it's time for a cockpit video. With preflight! B) If there is a market, there is a market. Elevators. I always get confused when folks press the up and the down button to 'get one'. Ok, purely off topic I think. Anyone saw that video? Made my heart and other organs cry. 41 hours!
