December 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member I've had enough for a while guys, peace, take care of yourselves, I'll be back for T7 release. Couldn't help but notice it looks like you're using the FSX-drop-down module to start SquawkBox. Don't. That's likely what's killing your sim all the time. Start it from the Start Menu. Glitch fixed. December 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member I just watched that film over Thanksgiving vacation on the way back from Rome on US Airways Flight 719! Haha - I'm hoping you get the reference, then! Good Lord, I wasn't even aware that you can run SB externally, life saver, thanks Kyle! You're welcome. Hopefully that gets you sorted! Kyle Rodgers
December 7, 201213 yr Gday Jamal Have you tried Opus LWE, it certainly sparks up a flight, especially in a thunderstorm. jeff jeff atkinson
December 7, 201213 yr Good Lord, I wasn't even aware that you can run SB externally, life saver, thanks Kyle! Sorry about the CTD. So frustrating near the end of a long flight. Same deal with IVAP. I've had no FSX crashes since running it externally. Before that it was about as stable as balancing an egg on your nose in bumper cars. - Jev McKee, AVSIM member since 2006. December 7, 201213 yr Note ; I am aware of the existence of the screenshot forums, and I agree that there is a suitable place to put this topic, however, I am requesting dispensation therefore allowing this topic to be continued on this section of the forums. If my requests are denied then I will gladly continue the post on the Screenshot forum, thanks guys! I don't get the need for screenshots in this thread, or even the need for this thread in this forum. It's primarily a user support forum and screenshots are allowed if they illustrate the problem someone is experiencing. You don't seem to need support, you're just testing an idea which to be honest doesn't really need testing. The screenshots merely illustrate the story. The 737NG can be operated across the pond so the NGX should be able to make it too.

Sorry, just thought that, since this is a forum dedicated to the NGX, I could share it with the people who own the NGX. Good day

December 7, 201213 yr Sheez mate. Wrong side of the bed? :good: Far from it, just politely expressing my opinion. If I'd got out of the wrong side of the bed I might have been less polite. Sorry, just thought that, since this is a forum dedicated to the NGX, I could share it with the people who own the NGX. Good day It's a forum dedicated to support for the NGX. It's not really the place to swap general experiences with the NGX unless you've found or solved a problem of some kind. If everyone shared their NGX flights like this the forum would simply get clogged up. I'm only a fellow user expressing my opinion so feel free to disagree. However Avsim have been fairly hot on off topic posts of late.
December 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member However Avsim have been fairly hot on off topic posts of late. Truth. In his defense, and however co-incidental as it may be, the arguably off-topic post did result in a form of support... I will agree with you, though, that if things were up to me, the forum would be a lot more on task. Kyle Rodgers

Hey Kyle, It's nice to know we agree on something. :good: And you're right, some good advice did emerge from the CTD. But that's where the thread should have started.
