December 23, 201213 yr For those who own the excellent Simcheck A300, looks like the addon will be released soon. The cockpit changes and screenshots are up here: http://simchecksoftware.com/forum/index.php?topic=393.90 You will be able to run some airlines with INS, and others with CDU. I'll probably set mine up based on photos from airliners.net and keep quite a few retro liveries with INS. Not sure of the price yet but hopefully not too much.
December 23, 201213 yr Commercial Member Great, I think I will try and learn this bird properly when that gets released.
December 23, 201213 yr Great news! I will get this add on for sure, the A300 is a great add on. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
December 23, 201213 yr Wow I forgot this was even being developed. I might have to pull the A300 out of mothballs.
December 23, 201213 yr So the rumor of an A300-600 was false then? That's disappointing as I don't even think an old A300B4 even flies anymore.
December 23, 201213 yr Author So the rumor of an A300-600 was false then? You can ask on their forum, but Bjorn is moving on to work on the FSLabs airbus so I think this is probably the last change to the A300. Not flying anymore is fine for me as its a retro jet sim

But if this is the closest I will get to a detailed A300B4-600, then so be it, I would love to give it a try, brings back lots of memories. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
December 23, 201213 yr Wow! I wasn't aware of this, but this is some fantastic news! Thank you for the heads up!
December 23, 201213 yr Well we've been waiting since 1/10/12. This is why developers shoulnt give estimated release dates! Also there's going to be no A300-600. Which is an absolute shame! And I hope they sorted the lighting issue out. I can't stand either pitch black or full bright all lights on!
December 23, 201213 yr Some nice changes ahead as it seems. It's good to see the FMC arriving and it's even better that the plane still needs the pilot's work on the vertical planning. Same as others, I'm wondering about the upgrade price.

Channel Express and Air Contractors were the last one I think and they are gone.
December 23, 201213 yr Commercial Member http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/Airbus/A300/A300B4/operator.php I wonder if some of these airlines still would be flying it, don't know how outdated this information is.
