As did I in the first place. Sorry about that Blair.- Bob

Ok...wrong choice of words. Not less complicated in terms of knowledge or procedure, but I dont really care about FMC's etc. I prefer to hand fly and manually navigate.Eric

Dear Eric,As an experienced simmer you'll know that you can fly the SF260 from anywhere you like in the VC, by altering a couple of values in the viewpoint section of the aircraft cfg. Kind Regards,Rob Young

Only SIX? Well:1.DF Archer - Gotta keep in touch with what I can really rent.2.DF Cardinal RG - Gotta go a little faster and see down better.3.Eaglesoft Hawker - Great bizjet. Doubles as T-1 type trainer for good low-level training on the MTR's.4.HU-16 - I think it is Gladden's. I have to get a Hemisphere Dancer fix once in a while. I have a Mountain Air version, too, but I guess that can't come along with the six.5.PMDG B1900D for the short hops, and a few long ones, too. It is great for the times when I don't have time to make a SOF brief, do a Bold Face exam, check NOTAMS, sign off the FCIF, pay my Boner Book fines, take a nervous ####, finally desk out, and go through all the checklists to get a flight fix. 6.MelJet B777-200LR for those long trips and Big Iron shots. Heck, we ARE spoiled. There is no way I have time to do justice to very many of my existing fleet. I have narrowed my activity lately, anyway, but I do pull whatever I want out of the hangar for some variety now and then.

My six best (payware/freeware):Boeing 737NG by PMDGBoeing 747-200 (RFP) by Ralph's Panel ShopDC-9 by Hilmersby (freeware -- thanks!)Beechcraft B200 King Air by Aeroworx & FFSHoward 500 by Shupe, Thomas, & Boao (freeware -- thanks!)Piper Meridian by Flight1And yes, thankfully I don't have to limit things to six.Bob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC

In no particular order:1. Aeroworx B200 ....a real joy and adventure to fly. Nice sounds, nice model, nice systems and nice "non overbearing" implementation of failures. I generally fly it around the Caribbean.2. PMDG B1900D ....when I feel like simulating real world commuter runs form New York. Excellent flight dynamics.3. PMDG 737 .....when I have to clean, do laundry, etc. Program FMC, engage VNAV and LNAV and away she goes. Generally disengage autopilot on downwind though. Usually simulate AAL, DAL, ASA, COA and ATA.....737-800s and 900s.4. Dreamfleet Archer....fun, fun, fun all around. Just load it up and fly. And DON'T even THINK of engaging that autopilot. 5. Capt. Sim 727....hand flying this bird is quite a rewarding challenge. Especially after I tried Clay's suggestion...only engage autopilot at cruise. Gererally simulate cargo carriers...DHL, FedEx UPS, Amerijet, and Kitty Hawk.6. I have many more aircraft, mostly payware. But I don't really fly them anymore. This empty slot will most likely be filled with either the PMDG 747 or the Flight1 ATR. Sorry eric. I probably broke the rules here..... :)
