http://www.farming-simulator.com/ the vehicules, equipment, graphics, etc all look great!

Wow—great coloring and graphics! Farm machinery is quite fascinating. I remember attending a farming equipment fair and seeing the massive vehicles. Naturally I liked the ones with side sticks!

it's a huge open world map, dynamic weather, day/night cycle, AI Traffic, Pedestrians, etc and has time acceleration or real-time 24hr clock. BUT no ATC or VFR Farming :lol: You can even hire workers and watch them work while controlling the equipment on their own.

So many simulators....flight, driving, truck, police, sim, ship, tank, crane, farm, etc.....there'll be an egg boiling simulator next with a variety of sized eggs to boil or maybe a book shelf stacking sim....the list goes on

I would love a Hair Cutting Simulator :lol:

It certainly has come a long way since Sim Farm.

I don't suppose there's an option to scale back operations and use horses to test the theory that you can actually make *more* money if you don't have enormous bank loans.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

This has nothing to do with the topic, but I have a question for five-by-five. What exactly does "Five by Five" mean in aviation parlance? I've been simming for a lot of years and I first heard the reference in the film "Aliens 2" and have never figured out what it refers to. A silly question, I'm sure, but just curious.

Now I'm not a "farmer". But being in the horse world I've worked on farms-as farm and barn hands etc- maybe that's why this doesn't appeal to me lol

And your right this would be way easier then the real thing.

Oh well rant over

Enjoy and the graphics they do look really cool.

Cheers

I tried this, but just thought it looked and worked bad. The only other simulator which has managed to steal my time away from FSX has been Euro Truck Simulator 2, which has brilliant graphics and is great for burning away a few hours :-)

I wonder how large the farming simulator community is. :-)

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

It's one thing telling your wife that you'll be flying the 737 to Amsterdam after tea, but another telling her you're going to drive the tractor round the farmyard :lol:
