I also use Vroute premium and your neat little excel Planer and they are a nice combo. How about the T777, will you create another spread sheet?

I have now tried SimBrief.

It's very good indeed. I guess the differences in time and fuel between the two tools are because of the missing CI calculations in the SimBrief calculations. It has been impossible for me to find accurate documentation on CI calculations, so I came up with my own algorithm, and it looks like it works okay.

Cheers

Got it, thanks for all your help. And yeah, the discrepency between simBrief and your tool in fuel calculations are negligible, so it really won't matter which one I use.

I will, eventually. But I need to to a lot of testing to create the calculations, so it will not be available shortly after 777 release. My hope is that it can be implemented in the current sheet.

And thanks for the heads up about Kingsoft Office. I haven't tried it yet.

oh forget kingston, Further testing showed problems so Im on trial with Microsoft office. I live in Thailand so I can walk into a shop and pay full price for office and get a fake or I can pay $3 and just buy a fake knowing its a fake lol

Lasse, thanks for the update.  As I said before, it keeps getting better and better.  One small item that you may want to add to your long range to-do list is to automatically recalculate the airport pressure settings when you change the units to InHg.

Good idea. Thanks. Consider it done.

I've just downloaded it, but I can't select a runway when opening in LibreOffice Calc. I'm getting this message: "Protected cells can not be modified". Is it there any way of unlocking this cells in order to select a runway?

libre office pack is not able to handle advanced formatting and the macros. You will need ms excel 2007 or newer. Sorry.

Hi, just started using this tonight.  Got it figured out pretty quickly except for one part.  In the landing section whenever I change it to autoland it highlights red which I thought was an indication of an error.  I can't figure out why it would be red though.  Any idea?

Safety margins are increased when autolanding. Maybe the runway is too short? What is the LDA and LDR reading? Are you using Excel or an alternative?

// Lasse Kronborg

LDA is 12467, LDR 8077.  This is Excel 2010.

Any chance we could get one of these GREAT tools for the Airbus Extended!
