Better "lower" stance on ground *Stopping distances (Autobrake and reverse) checked A330 V0.65 release imminent as well. So far after playing with the A320, it flies a lot better and brakes actually work properly now! So far so good. Have you tried the speed brakes in flight? Does it slows down the airplane considerably, or not ?
April 24, 201313 yr That is the .75 A320 changelog. Are they the one and the same? The just released update is .65, so not even same numbers. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
April 24, 201313 yr I agree about the vc not modeling the newer screens. Kind of ridiculous if you're going to model the A330, why not use the newest cockpit? Especially since you also model the A330 freighter which all have newer screens since it's a new model. Does anyone know if BBS plans on adding the newer lcd screens at some point as an option?
April 24, 201313 yr Agreed. It flies and its functional with alot of things working which is not bad for .65 and aside for anomalies and some bugs, there is not alot of wow factor as yet.Perhaps someone knows what exactly are the plans of BBS for this A330. What do they plan to implement, change etc besides fixing bugs. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
April 24, 201313 yr I'd say they plan as they go... April 25, 201313 yr SO WHAT'S THE GENERAL CONSENSUS HERE? TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY? I have it. It's not completed, yet. They're making significant updates to the sytems and over all they work well. However, there a few other things they need to fix. - Graphics: Here's where I am NOT contented. We are in 2013, and I expected much better graphics than what they've done. Overall it's nice but if you demand high quality texures as the AXE, PMDG 737, or LanAir, then this does disapoints. However, the graphics are much better (by far)than Wilco's and the lighting in and out are very well done- Nice ! But agian, the textures look too simple and you can clearly see no efforts were done to match AXE nor 737ngx. Maybe (and just maybe) we have been spoiled by AXE and PMDG. -- SpeedBrakes: I requested to them (seems like a 100 times) that they fix the "Dramn" but at Update 0.65 it still was not fixed. This makes me very angry as I want to be able to slow down this heavy a/c . And, currently when you're flying and you deploy the speesbrakes, the a/c just giggles and keeps flying at the same speed- Bad Point! Fix giys-- Fix it. I have even tried modificatins with AiED but makes no difference. Please fix it !
April 26, 201313 yr I like this plane and I'm very pleased that the toe brakes are fixed. I like the option about FSUIPC too. Also the aircraft always looked good on the ground but now it looks even better. I understand why smaller outfits have to release models in this way. Cash flow, I guess. I still have a few problems though - perhaps me rather than BB. I get a constant amber warning every flight - AUTO FLT A/THR LIMITED. I must have missed something obvious but it happens in the Tutorial flight too. Also, maybe related - I get a constant beeping which I cannot identify and cannot stop! Hopefully, someone will put me right. John John
April 26, 201313 yr Commercial Member A/THR limited means your thrust levers are out of the CLB detent, most likely because you haven't set a wide enough null zone through the MCDU. Rob Prest
April 26, 201313 yr Thanks very much.I wasn't sure about the null zone for the throttles. We never had throttle null zones before. But thinking about it, I'm sure you are right - the way I set it the plane probably can't tell one detente from another.... I'll widen it out a bit. When I pull back from TOGA, I get a clatter of clicks all together.EditFlew a circuit. Definitely easier to find the detentes with null zone=20 but might need to go higher (GoFlight TQ6). Beeping stopped during take off and downwind but returned when setting up for landing. Amber AUTO FLT A/THR LIMITED warning off and on this time. No obvious reason for beeps but I guess has something to do with throttle settings. Verry irritating! John
April 26, 201313 yr I'm using a nullzone of 30. Works perfect. Once you put the levers in the CLB detent you leave them there till you either disconnect on approach or move them to idle during the flare. I have found the null zone needs to be set pretty wide on the thrust levers I am using. Rob Prest
April 27, 201313 yr How to get ground power available? I dont see any switch or options of anything, and the MCDUs are dead until there is power. Seems like the only way is GPU right now? CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
