April 27, 201313 yr If you're looking for a detailed airbus, and not just a pretty face, I would go with the blackbox A32* series. Or wait to FSLabs FSL rather than BBS, IMO. But the AXE is already there ... and getting better. What happened to AVSIM
April 27, 201313 yr Author it works without any problems! Great addon! I can also only recommend it to everybody! Thank you Aerosoft!
April 27, 201313 yr The Airbus X Extended is an excellent simulation. It simulates just normal operation and has no failures but that really doesn't take anything away. Last I looked, Aerosoft has it on sale right now!!! US$ 33.06 25% off http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,,12065 Robert Yunque
April 27, 201313 yr It's on sale this very weekend, as per the date of this post. What happened to AVSIM
April 27, 201313 yr @olli4740 It appears you edited your post from 416PM. It was a little harsh... Sincerely, Chase My 2017 Build: Liquid Cooled i7 7700K CPU idle @ 4.2GHz | MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G | 16GB's DDR4 4000 RAM | ASUS 27" 144hz Gaming Monitor | MSI Z270 M7 Motherboard | Windows 10 | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 500GB SSD
April 27, 201313 yr @olli4740 It appears you edited your post from 416PM. It was a little harsh... @Chase, I'm not aware of it being harsh: Was trying to reply to Johnny's ###### issue, but my "###### ..." got blanked out automatically on submitting my post. So I put in the abbreviation "F. B." instead per an EDIT. I DO ask you to please explain the a.m. harshness to me. English is not my native language; sometimes I may choose the wrong words, sometimes even a dictionary isn't much of a help. Pls. explain this to me a little closer; wouldn't mind if you did it in public; maybe I'd want to apologize anyway - thanks! What happened to AVSIM
April 27, 201313 yr Asking someone "can you read?" may be recognized as rude. Moreover, telling someone their ".02 is very small" is offensive. Each of the millions of posts here at AVSIM is someone's ".02" after all. Sincerely, Chase My 2017 Build: Liquid Cooled i7 7700K CPU idle @ 4.2GHz | MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G | 16GB's DDR4 4000 RAM | ASUS 27" 144hz Gaming Monitor | MSI Z270 M7 Motherboard | Windows 10 | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 500GB SSD
April 27, 201313 yr Asking someone "can you read?" may come off as insulting in certain contexts. Also, telling someone their ".02 is very small" is insulting. Each of the millions of posts here at AVSIM are someone's ".02" after all. Now I got it: Pls. compare post #7 (mine) to post #9 (Johnny) - Johnny squeezed his reply into the quote, making it look like his reply was part of my post. #10 commented on Johnny being harsh to me and got voted up 4 times for it. Guess Johnny didn't "fake" this on purpose; I have trouble time after time to set the cursor below the quote myself. And: I'm not supposed to use the word/phrase F. B. in this forum, anyway, right? It got blanked out again ... What's the bottom line, Chase?!? What happened to AVSIM
April 27, 201313 yr Author the Airbus works very well but could someone maybe tell me where to enter the ILS frequency..?
April 27, 201313 yr "F a n b o y" is a term that can only be offensive; so it is on our filters. The bottom line is please be helpful and polite. Sincerely, Chase My 2017 Build: Liquid Cooled i7 7700K CPU idle @ 4.2GHz | MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G | 16GB's DDR4 4000 RAM | ASUS 27" 144hz Gaming Monitor | MSI Z270 M7 Motherboard | Windows 10 | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 500GB SSD
April 27, 201313 yr Chase, I learned some more English today; that's confirmed and acknowledged and complied to. My usage of that term got blanked out automatically and never showed in this forum; I'm glad for that filter, believe me. But you have realized that this term had been introduced before in Johnny's post and hadn't been filtered on that occasion? And you have realized that the accentuated paragraph, including the red and the blue, wasn't mine, but Johnny's? (Pls. comp. again posts #7 and #9) Feature-, quality-, graphics-wise you can compare it to any aircraft you want. It's not about systems, operations or procedures, it's about value for your hard-earned money. So the AXE is more than a "Wilco level of development" aircraft ... and still less than a PMDG-level aircraft (no failure mode on the AXE, for example). With the announced features for v1.2 (upcoming is v1.1, v1.2 will be way later) I'd compare it to the Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100: Trade the missing VC from the DA-F against some degree of system depth missing from the AXE - the overall value of both titles to me looks quite comparable. Flightdeck experience to me is also comparable: The DA-F has a lot of Airbus-like features and the ND can be toggled between weather radar and terrain representation. Both features are announced for the AXE v1.2, too (not yet for v1.1, though). Just my 0.02, of course ... Yeah I see you 0.02 is very small. Bring me a PMDG Airbus A-320, then we can talk (can you read?). Some people if it ant PMDG i's no good. If PMDG comes out with a flying frog tomorrow, these fan boys will be comparing it to other a/c and say their flying frog is better than anything else in the market....huff, so hepatitis -. :Big Grin: the Airbus works very well but could someone maybe tell me where to enter the ILS frequency..? You're being served, Sir: ILS has to be entered as VOR1 (left VOR) since the AXE doesn't have a 3rd NAV receiver modelled. What happened to AVSIM
