May 8, 201313 yr Do you KNOW what's wingflex? Because i didn't see any in your video (not that i was expecting to see...). And yes, the AXE wings don't respond to anything acting upon them, that's not simulated. Your posts are always a pleasure to read, they are so funny and laughing is good It's a superb product _NOW_ that they spent months fixing it, not before. You're welcome. I'm glad I can make you laugh. I believe you are my #1 fan, right? hehehe. So keep laughing cause crying and whining will make your life miserable. Happy Airbuzzzzing ! THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER, AND WILL GET EVEN BETTER... yahooooooooooo hoooooooooo !
May 8, 201313 yr Johnny must work in marketing, or he/she's a marketing student more likely. The term assignment is talk up one or more products in the weird world of simulation. Farm management, heart surgery, trolleybuses, trashcan emptying, or...aeroplanes. Target two or more products, and up their sales by 5% this term. Report back with your findings. You must defend your products_BLINDLY. In multicolored fonts if necessary. Richard Wells

However, the last part seems to say that you love the different colors of fonts we have access to, correct?
May 11, 201313 yr Author can someone tell me where i can get a real paintkit for it? if you download the paintkit from the aerosoft support page you get only some textures of Lufthansa etc. But it doesnt include a psd file with the whole fuselage.. ?
May 11, 201313 yr That is because there isn't one . Just make it yourself ( that is what everyone else has to do ) . Try reading the Aerosoft support forum in the Tweaking section . I've explaine there how to make one if you don't know . I've seen plenty of posts from people asking how to split a " full fuselage " which shows that not everyone knows how to use that either . John
May 11, 201313 yr Author Ah okay thank you. Yes I know how to do it. But what's the sense only to give those texture parts?
May 12, 201313 yr Commercial Member If you're looking for a detailed airbus, and not just a pretty face, I would go with the blackbox A32* series. Or wait to FSLabs BlackBox is such a joke......The quality is terrible. I really don't understand why people love it so much..... Or wait to FSLabs BlackBox is such a joke......The quality is terrible. I really don't understand why people love it so much.....I prefer it over the AXE! Even though it is still work in progress, it is closer to the real thing than anything else available right now. The displays with its fonts are the best I've seen so far. It's the older avionics version with CRT screens, but BBS already stated that they will deliver the newer version with TFT displays later. The FBW feels really good, and managed descend works really reliably and constraints are no problem here. The A/P is sometimes a little rough, but for a version 0.75, this addon has nearly everything one needs to simulate the normal Ops. I am very confident that these guys are able to deliver a truly good Airbus simulation! On my first test with AXE 1.1, the managed descent caused some serious problems with not showing a T/D at all, it didn't care about the altitude constraints and that's why I can be true to myself by saying that the BBS is, right now and in its current state, the best Airbus one can get.
May 12, 201313 yr Commercial Member @Mik75 I mean the quality is very bad...The systems might be great but again the quality is terrible. It doesn't feel like your flying a real plane...But again this is just MY opinion. It doesn't feel like your flying a real plane...But again this is just MY opinion. So you mean the graphics? That's a question taste. I think the sounds, the systems and the graphical appearance are good enough to give me an immersive experience. I think it is simply unfair to call this product junk, joke, or whatever. It still has a way to go, but it is far away from being unflyable or unusable.
May 12, 201313 yr It's all a question of taste isn't it? BBS may have more systems, but the poor visuals, sound, and general lack of '2013 state of the art' presentation of the product, for me lowers realism and immersion. AXE may only simulate normal procedures but with the quality of the graphics, sound, included RAAS, included Checklist / FO function and everything else, makes it the best airliner in my hangar. I do own BBS and I do try each new release, but it just feels like I'm back in 2005 flying a PSS aircraft, whereas AXE feels state-of-the-art.

May 17, 201313 yr Hi! I would like to buy an A320 addon for FSX. I thought Airbus X extended is the best for me, especially because there is a version with sharklets in it. Do you recommend it? And do you think there will be an update that adds sharklets to A319 and A321? Thanks Get it. It is amazing, I like it better than the NGX! It is fun to fly into Paro with Thai Creations Paro addon. Aerosoft is also working on an A319, which will be really cool since Drukair operates 3 A319s in real life. May 18, 201313 yr The most immersive Airbus I have flown so far. Relieved I did not decide to purchase the BBS. May 18, 201313 yr Throttle doesn't work. Flying with keyboard. Getting a joystick that doesn't have throttle controls. Will joystick fix it? I really like the AirbusX aircraft!
