They need to do something big with XPX10.  As it stands now, I won't be buying the T7 for FSX.  Not that it won't be amazing, just that my FSX will puke when I load it up.

It will never look like the real thing (its not a photo scenery or something like that) ... it will ... uhm ... just come much closer to reality than before (where and how detailed forests / cities / fields etc. are placed).
And the timing ... maybe some of this will make it to the default global scenery re-cut (depending on Bens plans when and what he updates). But I am quite sure, that I will add Japan to my HD Mesh v2 series, as it will be really worth it now. And that should come around June / July.

 

Appreciate it will never look exactly real, but I have noticed improvements in the landclass and mesh can make big changes to the feeling of realism. 

 

BTW, what metre resolution is your new HD mesh v2? For me the best mesh so far has been Hawaii in MS Flight which Meshman said was 10m. As you might know Japan is very mountainous so better mesh should look stunning.

I actually think that we might have a dual launch of the 777  .....fsx and xp10...no joke.  We'll see this year. :lol:

I'm quite happy flying the Ramzzess T7 in X-Plane at the moment and feel that it's complex enough to get me through a flight from A to B. I'd actually really like to see an NGX conversion in X-Plane or something from them that I haven't flown in either sim.

Well, if they convert it to XPX/64, they will make a ton more $$$$ because I will be buying it again, as many more would also.

I will also buy it again without even the slightest hesitation. It's a brilliant piece of software engineering. Really miss it in x-plane. I had to take it for a spin in the other sim the other day. Brilliant.

Please, developers, will you please switch your efforts to the sim of the future, X-Plane 10/64bit, and quit wasting your time on a dead 32 bit horse like FSX.

 

I guess it's P3D that has them still developing.  I wholeheartedly agree XP has the best jump on a better product and it's only the lack of 3rd party support that keeps many to most users from jumping in, myself included.  I think a big service pack or commercial upgrade to add about the same number of airports w/ buldings that shipped w/ FSX would also get folks moving over.

 

Does anyone know if there is a utility yet for XP that functions like FSPassengersX?  This is one other piece I really enjoy and use always w/ FSX.

The only thing I know of remotely like that is Air Hauler, but not sure if it works in x64.

Have it but never used it much as it seems too much like a tamagotchi - you can't just pick it up and play with it now and then, you have to manage and nurture it in real time!
