yup me too, dloaded it but not installing as of yet -hahahahatoo scared of all the work it might require of me afterwards and im not willing to lose active camera or the no-cd exe..so i think ill wait for those 2 updates regardless....besides according to the readme there hasnt been much of any MAJOR performance gains for those of us who dont do round-robins at least. If they had tried to remedy the cloud performace hit then id be alot more willing to go through some pain on having to patch at this point.Dave

It's not a "want" issue. It's a "need" issue. You'd have to be crazy to install this patch, or any patch on a highly-customized system if it's not needed.

Ok folks, I have all the tampa sceneries, PMDG, Active Sky, etc., and they all work fine. Just make sure you have the latest FSUIPC.

Hi all,I'm going to wait on the sidelines also until the dust settles before installing the patch. I had to re-install everything a few weeks ago (still reconstructing all the FS files) and there's no way I want to go through *that* again anytime soon.A few posts up in this thread someone mentioned a "no-cd.exe". Is there a way to get FS running without having to have Disc #4 in the drive?Regards,ScottKJMS

BTW, I didn't have to re-install anything either. Granted I don't have everyone's 3rd party stuff, but in my instance everything's ok.

Well I had no problems installing the patch. Everything so far is running fine. I forgot who asked but the PMDG does still work with the patch, Fly Tampa scenery works, and Simflyers stuff works (In fact at LAS with the PMDG plane I am now getting 5 extra framerates than before the patch)I also have no more seasonal CTD!! I never installed the patch for this and I figured I just live with the CTD. So I just finished a flight that ALWAYS had a CTD Geneva to Balse, and I made the whole flight with NO CTD!

Forgot to mention at Simflyers PHX there is a small problem with default ground textures bleeding through the scenery (I dint notice this before the patch) The bleed through problem is right before you get to the taxiway overpass near Southwest gates. Nothing a flatten command will not fix. :-)

No problems here. Installation of the update went perfectly. Took just a couple minutes on my system. I don't have alot of add-on scenery, but I do use all of FS Genesis' mesh in the U.S. Justin's 38M stuff and landclass works just fine. I'm off to fly over his 9.6M Yosemite and Grand Canyon mesh... can't wait to see it at 19M.Also have flown the AeroSoft Katana, RealAir's SF 260 and Scout, and Flight1's 172R without any problems (sorry, don't fly the heavy stuff).Textures here load a bit faster. Checked my Display settings and and they were untouched by the update.Greg

Installed and running with no problems. Here are some of the addons I checked having no problems. Active camera with new patch, FS Flight Tracker, FS Failure. Went to that great addon scenery of Boston looks great, emma field no prob's. the only thing I see that should of been fixed but wasnt was the problem with the force feedback joystick. Otherwise it took 90 secs to install the patch and then I just had to remove the .bak of my auto gen and install the active cam patch. no more than five mins tops. Hope this helps.

What exactly does that 19M do? I have Justin's 38M mesh for all the US. What will this patch do for us? Can you put it in plain english for us tech-impaired simmers..thanks!

No probs with UT and FSUIPC 3.4. Download and installation were quick and painless. Maui looks great with FSGenesis mesh.I just needed to remember to put terrain_max_vertex_level back to 21 in my fs9.cfg.I had not deleted my default.xml, so there was no need to restore.Performance TBD.Jon
