July 22, 201312 yr We have Vegas, after all Hey Kyle, please don't knock Vegas. My sister lives there and I've just returned from spending a full month there.Like all or most places/cities on earth, it has its opulences as seen on Las Vegas Blvd and it also has its down-and-outs as I witnessed so often driving from Sunset towards downtown via Tropicana. But yes, I'll agree with you, the opulence displayed in the mega-rich oils states is...........opulence extravaganza. Rick Almeida
July 22, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hey Kyle, please don't knock Vegas. My sister lives there and I've just returned from spending a full month there.Like all or most places/cities on earth, it has its opulences as seen on Las Vegas Blvd and it also has its down-and-outs as I witnessed so often driving from Sunset towards downtown via Tropicana. Wasn't knocking it - just saying it has its own extravagance. And, as you've seen, extravagance is often at the cost of those unable to live it. Heck, a lot of people look at DC and only see the monuments and nice museums. If I took any of them off the beaten path, they'd see another story. It exists everywhere. I can't think of a single city without blight. Kyle Rodgers
July 22, 201312 yr Then again, the Americans here in LA are more crazy for the Royal's than the Brits!! Could not agree more with you there, Luke, as during my stay in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, and Canada, all I saw on the tv channels was far more coverage of the Royals than we give here. At least in Canada's case one can make allowances as they are still the foremost loyal members of the Commonwealth. ot of people look at DC and only see the monuments and nice museums Yes, saw that too in DC, which is why when I get taken around to see the pretty sights and ask to see how the 'real' inhabitants of a city live, I'm often treated as a social do-gooder, but as travel photography is what I'm into besides this hobby, the picture would not quite be complete, if you get my drift. Rick Almeida
July 22, 201312 yr Commercial Member the picture would not quite be complete, if you get my drift. Yep. Oh please can someone make a repaint of this beauty? Someone made the livery of that awesome MD-11 when it came out. I'm sure someone will have a stab at this one. Kyle Rodgers
July 22, 201312 yr The livery I fly my 738NGX in is very similar. I believe it's called 'TheBlueBandit' - from a RW private 763! If I'm not flying that, then I use the Boeing dreamliner 739WL livery. - Luke Pabari
July 22, 201312 yr Like the livery very much! Gonna fly it for sure. Lj. Prodanovic

July 23, 201312 yr Meh give me a gulfstream 550 instead, that thing is way to big. Not a Boeing OR Airbus?! Surprise me more and more each day - Luke Pabari
July 23, 201312 yr Commercial Member Haha - man, I'm on point. ...in actuality it's made really easy by the fact that extravagance is a big thing over there. No judgment passed, by the way. We have Vegas, after all. Granted, it's not on the same level, but extravagance exists here too. Yep, I've seen multiple heavy private jets at KLAS. There's a casino tycoon there who owns a 763, an L-1011 and a 747SP among others. There's always numerous 737 BBJs there too - I've even seen a BBJ3 (the 900ER based one) there. July 23, 201312 yr Not a Boeing OR Airbus?! Surprise me more and more each day Neither company makes a plane small enough to fit into the airports I want to go into and even if that wasn't an issue anything larger than an A318 in ACJ config would be way to excessive for me.
