Very nice video, although I would have liked it to be in HD...there is always a grain of salt...

Great video!  You answered many questions for me.

it was in HD

My bad....somehow youtube wouldn´t let me watch this in HD....instead I had to endure this in 480p....

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the A/T on landing. This will greatly ease manual landings.

I have a question.  I'm assuming we can use our NGX joy buttons to discon the AP and AT and press TOGA.  I've been reading that we are to leave the A/T arm in on all the time.  Would we use a different button to disconnect the AT or just switch that main one off if we wanted to land completely manual?

I am not too familar on the 777, however I would assume there is a rocker switch button (like the 747) or a button on the side of the throttles (similar to the 737) for disconnecting the A/T. This would be able to be assigned to a key command through the PMDG OPTIONS in the CDU.

Incredible to hear all those sounds.

Just a side note, is it the video , or my eyesight that the FD needles are hard to see. Or perhaps its an option to have a higher contrast needle.

But I have to admit, watching all these videos is like bringing a kid into a candy store, showing him all the goodies and then taking it away 20x over. lol

After a video is uploaded, YouTube converts it into 360p, 480p, 720p, etc. resolutions in the appropriate format. This takes some time and if you watch a video too soon after it's uploaded, you won't be able to watch it in 720/1080 loveliness.
