A2A Accu-Sim Cessna 172 may be out "within the week"

Featured Replies

i'm trying it, i sadly found out that saitek panels don't work.. :(  anyone else that owns the plane and saitek panels has the same issue? hope guys at a2a fix it ASAP.

This is common for aircraft that use custom xml coding for gauges/avionics.  You'll have to wait for a LINDA module or something similar so you can assign all the functions directly.

How do you access the walk around?  Shift-8 doesn't work.

The other panels work fine, with the exception of the "Main Panel".  You can access the others from "Instruments".

Quick question as I have never purchased an A2A or Accusim product before. If I buy, download, and install this plane from the link in this post, is it ready to fly as the complete package? So no other downloads or programs for the accusim part etc (besides the manual)? Thanks.

Downloaded (in 3 mins... cool!).

Quick test  -  I honestly can't see me ever flying another piston single in FSX ..... this is it.

I am a JUNKIE, addicted to the sound of the starter motor!!!

Yes, this is an "all-in-one"  product,  the first for A2A Accusim,  I believe.

It comes with an input configuration app, where keyboard or joystick buttons can be assigned, doesn't it?

Ah yes it does, but it doesn't have every switch and button in the plane. I don't know what all the Saitek panel includes so maybe you can assign everything.

Ok after further check i figured it out:

The only things that doesn't wor is the animation of the master switch when pressed on the panel, but the function is activated, other thing is the flap that doesn't work with the default panel's settings ( i had to assign f6 and f7 Keys via spad).

For the rest... WOW! this plane is AWESOME, you guys did a great piece of work!

Time to fly now..

Bye.

Yes, that's what I meant to say, "All in one Product". Awesome and thanks.

Just completed first flight.  Best GA plane I have used to date.  My only complaint is that I wish it had a more used look to it.  Sounds really add to the experience.

I just finished a 45-ish minute flight to check everything out. Man, this thing is cool! The visuals are beautiful, especially in the VC with DX10 shadows. This is all I will be flying for quite a while.

Hmm, the flaps worked on my panel, so far I discovered that  only the battery switch don't work (haven't tried the ignition switch yet but everyting else seem to work)

My only complaint. Damn, those seat covers are sooo '90s!

I'm kind of glad it doesn't have the used look. I remember all of those overly used rentals, with sun faded & worn upolstery on the glare sheild. You could figure that the high hour airframe, engine, and systems to be somewhat the same. I gravitated to newer models......especially when the new Skyhawks went back into production.
