October 31, 201312 yr Is this the same version as the one I bought at Simmarket? I don't see a V2 in the title. http://secure.simmarket.com/maxx-xp-urbanmaxx-extreme-for-x-plane-10.phtml RE Thomason Jr.

October 31, 201312 yr Incredible, more more more. This is what I always looked for in the other sim. XPX is fast becoming my sim of choice. Thanks Guys for all the input and posts. Jamie Moses Jamie Moses
October 31, 201312 yr Ok, for the record I bought it awhile ago not recently. There was a thread on Urban Max here awhile ago and I based my "lukewarm" response on this older version looking forward to seeing the updated one. Thanks for the clarification, hope you'll continue to offer you products there like skymax because I like the way they keep track of all my purchased dowload links; it makes reinstalling after a system build or crash easy and I'm one who's willing to pay a little more for that convenience. October 31, 201312 yr Bit confused still Does it work with or do you not require SimHeaven's OSM scenery ? Are the texture add on packs still required from Johns site or are they now built into the main Urban Max programme What layer would you have it listed in the scenery layer ini in the custom scenery ?? Looks good. Trevor Golding

Looks good. NO it is a stand alone texture enhancement that works by replacing the ground textures. With that said it should work just fine with OSM scenery. You can use the texture packs still they are not built into the newest version. I havent seen any conflicts with any other custom scenery packs so no need to worry about order in the "Custom Scenery" folder.....
October 31, 201312 yr Author The only exception I noticed, but creates absolutely no problem, is when using photo-scenery. Of course UrbanMAXX Extreme can't do anything there, right? As far as the order in scenerypack.ini goes, I noticed no conflicts at all. Right now I am running into a couple problems with UM. 1 Simmarket is selling an older version. 2.My automated download system is on the fritz from my site..... Both issues are going to be fixed this weekend, unfortunately I wont have the time until then. If you buy UM from my site be patient and I will provide a link, usually within minutes after the purchase...But I do sleep sometimes....
October 31, 201312 yr Well, I just bought this too at the .org.. But, how do you know what version you have?!?!? Inside the zip was the drop in folder, but where do I find what version? If I just bought today, would that be already the latest posted? On the purchase page, it did not give a version number.... Now for my first flight to see what's up Post edit: I just viewed my purchase order, and it said v2 3D, but no v2.x number, so I assume this is only v2.0, right jsphan? If this is not the latest update, how and where can I find it? Thanks.
October 31, 201312 yr That is the latest version v2 3D I think jcomm called v2.3 this doesn't exsist...
October 31, 201312 yr That is the latest version v2 3D I think jcomm called v2.3 this doesn't exsist... Oh...ok..that was puzzling me. John...here's a shameless user-plug: This is a must have, at a great price point! Am flying over Detroit (in pause) and all I can say is 'Oh my....wow....' )) Do you have a recommendation as to where I should place your folder after my first flight ends? Is there a preferred position the folder should be listed, in the Scenery Folder? Again...what a difference this gem has made...it has, as others have already stated, perked up plausibility for sure. I have already downloaded and installed your three texture packs and am now off to see what they bring. Good deal, John and I hope you continue to invest in this product! Mitch'er Post Edit: John, you are absolutely right in your manual...you can most certainly start to drop back all scenery settings and still get most enjoyable renderings. In fact, I have dropped my trees to default, and in objects went down off of 'tons'. The result? Looks great...and added performance headroom. Most happy!
October 31, 201312 yr Author Confirmed, sorry - the folder I dropped in "Custom Scenery" even reads: Urban_Maxx_Extreme_V2_3D Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
