Wow. Unflyable?

 

If I threw $100 million on the doorstep of every PMDG 777 owner, 98% of them would skip off into the sunset as happy as could be. The other 2% would complain that I gave them all 100's and no 50's, or that a couple of the bills had bent corners.

 

There's no pleasing some people. I have YET to see a single CTD, or anything similar that would prompt me to throw a tantrum and declare that the 777 is unflyable. I call that crowd the Two Percenters.

All ctd's I had after install were ALL pebkac.

After those she has been a dream and never faulted me once.

10 hour flight germany to hong kong. Great. Did 2 turnarounds. Flown 50hrs in a week without a hickup (other than me screwing up my pc...)

You might want to try steve dx10 fixer? Its great tool. I never had oom or CTD

I am sure PMDG have the best in simulated avion, but some communication on ETAs regarding these fixes, would help. That's what we call effective customer service.

So after spending a little more time reading and pushing buttons, this plane is finally starting to grow on me. It has some annoying kinks, like a delay in the speed and altitude displays, but she's nice to watch once you develop the patience to set up the FMC. My first full flight happened to be Singapore to Atlanta overnight. If you're gonna fly an ultra long hauler, I say fly it ultra long haul ^_^

For a hoot, you could even block Tabs, RSR, the rest of the PMDG staff, Luke P, Kyle, and all the other 777 Beta testers, then go and complain that none of them ever reply to you in a trollolololol lolololl lololol thread.

 

I have 2 people on my block list, but I notice that they are all now in the "Banned" member group on the forums here, so it seems my Judgement matches Tom Allensworth and the rest of the avsim  forum moderators.
