Thanks to y'all. Yes it works for others and it does not for others.  I am really just interested in here PMDG provide a fix for their software...It cost 90$ to not fly it.

 

As everyone else who is experiencing bad times on this software, It cannot be our fault if PMDG 777 is unflyable for a collective many.

At EGKK, I was about to embark on an 11h 52 minutes flight to San francisco. Preparing departure on the FMC and arrival information...Navigating on STEP through my flight crashes.

 

PMDG already told be they will fix this...but Heck, it is taking forever.

 

 

I bought it, re-installed everything, OS, FSX...yet still not working.

 

Mind you NGX is fine.

What fixed my crashing issues was switching to dx10 never had a crash since. I can alt tab out of the middle of a flight and go right back in without an issue in dx10.doing this always crashed my sim in dx 9

From what I gather his issue has nothing to do with OOM issues, the aircraft is 'unflyable' because he insists on using the lower display to step through his flight plan What a horrendous inconvenience, I suggest PMDG get a move on and release this patch!

What upsets me is that someone is just too stubbern to do it another way and hanger a brilliant plane in the process while whining about in on a forum.

PMDG released the T7 over 2 months ago and we haven't seen so much as a hotfix. Wasn't the operations center supposed to help deliver fixes sooner? 

 

Anyway, while I don't condone the OP's tone, there are people who are experiencing game-breaking issues and PMDG's lengthy patching process is going to create blowback like this.

Not sure about the ops centre, maybe.

 

On the other hand, there are only a small group of people having problems. Many of these problems are caused by, or can be avoided or worked around by, the user. The only one that can't is apparently intermittent and very hard to isolate, which is the one that's taking the time.

If you want to avoid OOM's just do what I do. Use the DX 10 fixer and uncheck all sceneries you just don't need for your flight. Google scenery cfg editor tool and create scenery cfgs for your most common routes if you don't always want to use the library manager. Use high definition audio device in the sound setting and de/activate the the simulator sound engine using Q once in a while.

yesterday evening started eddp > vhhh. 

Refueled, reloaded cargo and went vhhh > eddp.

Refueled, reloaded, and just departed for another eddp > vhhh.

Love weekends.

So it does work.

Well I might not have 100's of hours in the beast but after getting over the learning curve of this AC I have been able to go from cold and dark state to flying in less than 20 mins. And what a learning curve I have had to go thru. Thought I never get her off the ground. Everyday I will usually do a 4-5 hr flight and while I am in the air I will pop open one of the manuals just to figure out something new. Now looking in volume 2 there are some neat features that I hope PMDG is incorporating in the 300LR/ER

I have never had a problem with the T7 since I downloaded it.  I have my throttles, speed brake, flaps, rudder pedals and flight controls all set through FSUIPC and not a problem.  If you read the manuals - PMDG & FSUIPC and follow the directions you shouldn't be having all these problems.  My guess is it's either an installation problem or a hardware setup problem.  I have set up configurations and partuicular airports as saved flights and just load them from the free flight screen, some cold and dark and some fully ready to go.  I used to fly the PMDG 737 NGX and the T7 is very similar, so the procedures are pretty much the same - easy transition.  If you are using FSUIPC make sure that you set it to the profile and do not calibrate the axis, just assign the axis.  You will get into problems if you calibrate assignments.  When you are selecting the type of action make sure you select Send direct to FSUIPC Calibration.
