Anyone out there beside me just had enough of this FSX.

Tired of tweeking  and trying this and that with multiple reinstalls.

Is there any other computer game which demands so much from its user to have it work like it is suppose to?

I think when Prepar3d  offers its dx11 model for sale I will BURN my X Gold Edition!

I've just stopped using payware and now everything works perfectly.

Nope I can't get enough.  I live for the challenge.

 

On the other hand...I would pay $1000 for full blown 64bit sim that looks like my current setup of FSX but runs as smooth as silk.

I'll probably never understand why people feel the need to make posts like these other than to stir a pot. If I don't enjoy something I just move along and try something else. I don't see a need in telling the world about it.

It sure is one temperamental piece of software but it got us this far.

I think some people get frustrated with technical hitches sometimes and feel the need to vent. It's understandable. Also, FSX tends to involve a significant investment of time and cash, which makes it harder to walk away from than say, some FPS that a gamer has tried and doesn't like.

Im, kinda with you on this Paul(topic starter Paul) and I will probably join your "burn FSX disc party" once I get settled with Prepar3dV2. No other PC program in history has had me swearing and frustrated me as much as FSX :blink: . Having that said, FSX, when things go smooth it have given me some of the greatest expiriences I ever had behind my computer and I've had a lot of joy using it. Guess I have a "love/hate" relationship with this software :wub:  :t0103: , but when I finally can remove it I will also enjoy the pleasure of burning it and pis# on the fire afterwards. ^_^

FSX has been working fine for me for 7 years now.

Leaning to X-Plane myself,some great addons out now and looks real good.

FSX is rock-stable on my system..

Only tweaks I ever make is upon installing and that's been 3 yrs ago now.

I am OK actually.
