December 3, 201312 yr "What does it mean when your R2000 stops dripping oil?" Yer outta oil... It also means it's time to start looking for a new/better mechanic! Matthew Bellette
December 9, 201312 yr I submitted, or attempted to submit, an application through the ticket system, it's not showing up under my submitted tickets. Did PMDG remove the application tickets from the system or did mine not go through? I didn't want to submit a duplicate ticket. Lee Barber - Rochester, NY PPL-G
December 10, 201312 yr RSR, come on really "what does it mean when your R2000 stops dripping oil"? That's easy, the mechanic finally did his/her job. What, you say the mechanic didn't look at it? December 10, 201312 yr Nope, in any radial engine, if it stops dripping oil, it means your engine is either dead or about to seize up....in other words, you are in BIG trouble. Sent from my Mobile thing Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
December 10, 201312 yr In the Martin Mars, we forecast and planned a general burn/loss rate of 2 GPH per engine when flying on the fire, thus 8 GPH total per hour. Then again, when you are carrying between 90 and 120 US gallons in each engine oil tank 2 gph isn't all that significant ;-)
December 14, 201312 yr I too tried to submit through the ticket system an application with the same results. No record of the submission. Dave
February 12, 201412 yr Wonderfull news! Is it going to be like a accu-sim aircraft? for good testers you should contact Tatonduk Outfitters Limited. They fly 8 DC-6's on daily base across Alaska. see the website of them; www.evertsair.com regards Ronald Ronald van Ingen EHAM
