November 25, 201312 yr AirDailyX is reporting that RSR has advised PMDG is to release their 737, 747 V2 and 777-2 aircraft for this soon to be released platform. Apparently the Triple 7 is to be 'the first cab off the rank.' With this news there appears to be no impediment (other than the EULA) for P3D to assume the mantle (sorry AMD/ATI) of preferred sim from FSX , and perhaps even FS9 for many of us. Please be aware P3D 2.0 is still a 32bit app.
November 25, 201312 yr I think this is great news. Looks like after six years of crap FS9er's have a platform worthy to move to. FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
November 25, 201312 yr I wasn't expecting this. I was more eager to hear what they would transfer over to XP10. LUIS LINARES Processor: Intel Core i9 6700K 9900K (5.0 GHz Turbo) Eight Core; CPU Cooling: NXXT Kraken X62 280mm CPU Liquid Cooler; System Memory: 64GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM @ 3200 MHz, RGB; Graphics Processor: 11GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, GDDR6, Primary Drive: 2TB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive (SSD)
November 25, 201312 yr Already said this, but if their products won't be compatible with FSX then they just lost a devoted customer. I will not spend....actually, I'm not too sure what the price for the 'normal' version of P3d is considering, there really is none..I can either spend 50 dollars, or 200.....Anywho, #p3dfanboysunite Am I supposed to put my overly priced and powered computer specs here? Sorry, I must have no tolerance for idiots who do that. So when's the PMDG 777x gonna' be released? Sorry you got your hopes up..But hey..Look on the bright side...It's not for FSX.. -Sincerely, Shawn O.

November 25, 201312 yr I have one question. If i own the PMDG 777 do I just pay a (minimal) extra fee to make it work in P3D, compared to REX reQuiring a small payment in order to settle licensing, or must I pay the entire $90 (or similar) over again? Regards, Jeremy Chesney

Yea I aint paying $90 again for it. I'll just keep flying it in FSX if thats the case. But I don't think PMDG will do that to us maybe they will be super awsome and offer a free patch to all current owners of the NGX and 777. ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170

November 26, 201312 yr Just skip it (again). See what Frooglesim has to say about this, not a leap forward.
November 26, 201312 yr Just skip it (again).See what Frooglesim has to say about this, not a leap forward. Perhaps not a "leap" forward. But the first real forward progress in 7+ years. And active development, not oriented towards the consumer gamer that was Microsoft's target audience, but guys like US. Four yards and a cloud of dust may not be as spectacular as a 75-yard hail mary pass, but if you can do that consistently, it'll still get you into the end zone. Progress is good! November 26, 201312 yr If you are an academic yes, I am not. Progress is good, sometimes it is, sometimes it isnt. But, evolvement is better. Lets see where it goes, albeit slowly. After all, its all what is left of MSFS!
November 26, 201312 yr Author If P3D was a 64bit app you would not be able to install any of the add-ons that's available. Correct ... however LM are stating they are developing a 64bit version. I wanted to make sure the reader was left in no doubt as to what was being released.
