Razbam Metroliner Released

Thanks Izamm. I can get the GPS to pop up with shift 3 but I cannot the gps unit to turn on. I click on it but nothing happens. Anyone?

Hi John,

Make sure the avionics switch is on, check that you can turn the radios on, otherwise the autopilot (like the radios) won't work.  The autopilot should have a selected altitude display even if it is swiched off, as long as power is available

Incidentally, for those who downloaded the installation in my post #351, I had a couple of bitmaps (for the autopilot) missing from the cab file, so please download it again.  You only need to replace the cab file in the gauges folder.

The link is repeated here.

Thanks Izamm, that fixed it.

Thanks Craig but I get nothing. I also meant the new autopilot, not the gps.

Oh, sorry!

and the 'fat tire' was fixed with a larger wheel

What does this mean?

Well, this is weird. I bought it right off the Razbam website, can't find the documentation, and I can't talk to ATC anymore. I also got weird gibberish in the green scroll bar on top (like when you tune ATIS). Uninstalled, and all was back to normal again. Was it a bad download?

I get the gibberish in the green bar too, curious if there's a way to get rid of it?

Ok, reinstalled as "administrator", and all works fine now, except the gibberish occasionally comes back.

What does this mean?

the wheel diameter is too small compared to the tire diameter using the original texture, so the tire looks fat.

What numbers did you use for it to work?

Hello fellow Metroliner pilots!

Really happy to see such an active community!

I am having a similar problem as another pilot in this forum had. I have a flashing PWR Warning light, no working fuel guages or lights and can not unload cargo or passengers from the cargo unloader. I understand this is a possible problem with the XML dll file however mine looks correct from the research I have done.  I will post it here.

I am running REX 4 texture pack as my only mod.

This is with the STEAM version of fsx so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I initialy installed the metroliner to D/steam/steamapps/common/fsx/Microsoft flight sim (if I recall correctly...going from what I remeber) but had to uninstall then reinstall to D/steam/steamapps/common/fsx  (it did not need the Microsoft flight sim part of the path and the metroloiner would not show up in the sim otherwise)

I posted over at Razbam however the forums are not very active over there and was hoping that some fellow simmers over here at AVSIM may have some possible solutions.  I am new to FSX comming from DCS and wanted to give some of the non combat stuff some quality time!

Thanks in advance for any input and advice! Hope to be an active contributor here!

Is there a folder named "Addon Modules" with a "mm3sm.dll" file in your FSX folder?

Other than that, you might need an older version of SimConnect. The legacy interface installers are somewhere in the FSXSE folder; forgot where though.

My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

There sure is Bjoern. Will look for those Lagacy Interface Installers! Thankyou for the reply!

I found a directory in my FSX folder (don't have one called FSXSE..although I am running the SE version of the game and is the only one I own) called Installers.

One of the exe files is called msxml (there appear to be different language versions of the same file in the directory).

Is this the file I am looking for? It appears to be a SDK.  I also see a SimConnect.dll in the FSX directory.

Thanks!

I found them!  Thank you so much! I ran all 3 files and that did the trick! Should the need arise to go back to the non legacy SimConnect is that a possibility or would there never be a need? (Im thinking if the various addon developers upgrade their products to the newer SimConnect).  Just a curiosity. Again ..Thank you so much!!!

Man, with Bjoern's Mods, this thing is fabulous. Occasional bugs, but I can clear them up with a FSX resart (doesnt really bug me-oops I made a funny :)). Great, in-depth systems work, and I picked it up for 10 bux, which is a steal.

Now I can recreate the usual Ameriflight cargo flight to my home airport, KBUF, from Dayton. Yeah, its done with a Beech 99, but still.

Bjoerns mods? Hmmmmm! I will have to hunt those down!  Where would they be I wonder.

Oh just incase anyone needs to utilize the Legacy SimConnect they were located in STEAM/steamapps/common/FSX/SDK/Core Utilities Kit/SimConnect SDK/Legacy Interfaces
