Bug fixes – initial option to install reflections didn’t appear

 

Cloud config button was not disabled properly on uninstall of libraries.

I love the improved night effects on the open ocean and how they are tied to the moon phase!  It's realistically darker now.

Thanks for this. Had a quick flight last night before bed. Certainly does appear to solve the flashing rain texture thing in ASN. Looking forward to trying the night time changes.

Product Updates

 

If an additional version of DX10Scenery Fixer is produced then you will be notified as follows:

 

 By a post on my blog http://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/

 

 By an email from the Flight Sim Store (assuming that you requested the notification option). This will be sent within a week of the new version being available.

 

The recommended Update Procedure is to uninstall and then install the new version as follows:

 

1. (Optional) Save the profile of your selected shader options using the DX10 Controller menu.

 

2. Uninstall the libraries using the option in DX10Controller

 

3. Open Control Panel/Add or remove Programs and remove SteveFx – DX10SceneryFixer

 

4. Launch the downloaded FSS Installer for the new version and follow the instructions, reentering

your key if necessary.

 

5. Launch DX10 Controller and Install the libraries

 

6. (Optional) Load the Profile of shader options you saved in step 1.

 

7. Read the Manual!  <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<  Steve's words!

Wouldn't worry about it, Ron. We've done it either way and it works. It's a bit like the "Reboot the system after an installation "to refresh the registry"".. Well - yes - it's a good idea, but not always necessary, as we've all done it lord knows how many times, and it's always ok... except for that one time when.....   B)

 

 

...but - yes - I always uninstall the old version before installing the new one.
