After much play... best tubeliner is...

Recommended Posts

Ok, it is a tie.  Right now on X Plane 10 the Flight Factor 757 and JARA320 are exceptional.  To be honest when I came from FSX and was used to flying the PMDG aircraft, X Plane 10 was really lacking in this area.  The tables are slowly turning and these aircraft are really a joy to fly.  With the IXEG 737 and the PMDG aircraft coming... along with the JARA330... a tubeliner such as myself will be in heaven.

Agreed.  The 757 and the JAR A320 are the best in my opinion.

Personally I don't use either of them because I can hardly understand the controllers!

I tended to ask them to "say again" a couple of hundred times, but I've become acclimatised to the garble now, so it's all good.

Lol I think TBH it's a combination of people not articulating their speech sufficiently and poor microphone quality/positioning.
I might give it another go one day. :-)

A lot of people don't uncheck the "Realistic Distortion" checkbox, which makes everything sound garbley and iffy.

Your statement is fundamentally incorrect

Fundamentally incorrect as far as you are concerned, However for myself and many others we shake our heads in disbelief that a modern flight simulator lacks these basic features.

As for Vatsim, tried it, not enough ATC coverage on the times that I am able to fly.

I prefer Radar Contact and Airports full of Ai courtesy of MyTraffic X.

Once Xplane has these things available I will give it another go, Empty skies and airports make it seem like a deserted world apart from the car traffic.

It is indicative of Austins strange priorities for his flight simulator that he feels highway traffic is more important than Air traffic.

Anyway each to their own, enjoy whatever Sim you like.

I really don't see why you felt the need to derail this thread. All your issues are well known and despite them some of us are enjoying XPX and the work 3PD are doing.

I pretty much like them all (FF 777/757, JARDesign A320 neo, FJS 727, J.Rollon CRJ, LES SAAB 340A), but right now, I am really in love with Peter´s Aircraft A321 and the QPAC A320, I´ve never flown any better Airbus addon!
