Trying your settings from the sticky in the XP forum and think you've got the colour / gamma balance just about spot on. I only curse my mortal body for needing to sleep. So much fun!

Cloud shadows and raleigh tweaks make XPX the most realistic looking flight sim I've ever used! Beautiful pics, keep them coming!

Thanks Scotchegg, so glad you enjoy ! But I'm not sure I want to endorse the title you award me in the thread's title, after just tweaking four parameters  !

Your shots are beautiful.

Looks natural, nice!

Beautiful shots.  I had a similar experience flying around Southern California, (pics to follow).

Last night, I installed P3D2.1 and sat at my PC thinking about all the software I would have to reinstall, all the tweaking and settings to experiment with, and just decided to chuck the whole thing and boot up x-plane.  I have been running the same install over several PC builds since I just move the HD that it's on.  I am so glad I started using this simulator.

Exactly how I felt! Summed up perfectly!

Totally agree! I gave it a shot today, editing the datarefs. It's absolutely unbelievable the results you get!

I was wondering about the last shot, Scotchegg, is it near Lugano ? I think I recognise a mountain I walked on a few years ago.

Yes Pascal, well spotted. It's one of my favourite areas to fly.
