Oh my gosh I saw that!  I might have to splurge!

I'm a little concerned about my video card though....  how is it compared to the carenado king air?  I only have a 1.2GB vram card....  GTX570 powerful but low on the vram... concerned about all those glorious textures.

I guess you'll do fine, for that price..........BUYYYYYYY ITTTTTTTT!

Hey I used my brain and bought it!

Yeah, wow - easily the best payware I have so far (I only have about 6).

I even selected low res textures and they still look great!  Sounds amazing, cockpit amazing, virtual checklist amazing, auto start for newbs like me = amazing.

Eventually I'll get to all the documentation.

I'd have bought a LInux version for 35 today. But sorry, I hardly boot Windows anymore. :(

Oh well.  Maybe next time.

I heard the S340 is prettey hard on FPS. Is that true? How is it compared to other addons?

They fixed those issues with the latest version.

Nice offer!  Couldn't resist and bought it.  A quick flight round was planned, and I realised that there's a lot of figuring out / reading of manuals to do before I could even start the engines!

In terms of performance, it's a little bit more demanding than the FF757.  On my machine that's no sweat.

I'm impressed with the sounds.  I've never flown in a 340, but I've done plenty of miles in a Dash 8 (200 to Q400).  Assuming these are the same engines, I'm darned impressed - all the subtle notes during taxi and beta operations leave me feeling like the only thing missing is the smell of freshly brewed coffee and some warm buttered rolls.

Now back to the manuals.... why does torque drop off during the take off run.

I also bought the Saab.  Great plane.
