April 29, 201412 yr Hello! I want to practice ILS approaches with the NGX (LANDINGS MAINLY) So can I have a download link to an FSX load game saved filed where im aligned with the runway ( You know, Disengage AP and all that I will have to do about 500ft before touchdown) but you know what I mean! Thanks! I think tutorial 2 already has the downloaded saves...but where do i place them??
April 29, 201412 yr Commercial Member So can I have a download link to an FSX load game saved filed where im aligned with the runway You can create one yourself pretty easily, honestly. The intro manual explains the panel state saving, and loading features, in addition to how it behaves using FSX saved flights. Kyle Rodgers
April 29, 201412 yr Have you tried creating one yourself? With your preferred airport, preferred runway, preferred weather conditions etc.? Just perform a flight, and save it via the FSX menu when, say, 30 nm out of your destination. What happened to AVSIM
April 29, 201412 yr Author Oh...I dont know how to do that, can you guys explain please? I have all the panel states here in tutorial 2 but Idk where to put them
April 29, 201412 yr Author I know how to make a flight plan but not how to get one to already be in air with the speed and all that ready. Rene - Im looking to see if I can just make one now, not looking to buy anything Actually saving up for REX and stuff, but thanks for your initiative.
April 29, 201412 yr Commercial Member Oh...I dont know how to do that, can you guys explain please? This is explained in tutorial one (and reiterated several times in the process). Press the ALT key on your keyboard. Use the Flights drop down menu at the top left. Select Save. It never hurts to explore a program to figure out where the various features are. It's a lot easier (and faster) than asking someone else every time... I have all the panel states here in tutorial 2 but Idk where to put them The installer should've put the panel states in the right location when you installed the plane...unless you've gotten them by other means for some reason... I know how to make a flight plan but not how to get one to already be in air with the speed and all that ready. Nobody has been telling you how to create a flight plan... Kyle Rodgers
April 29, 201412 yr Author Oh yeah I know where they are now Dont worry, I know how to save them! I was thinking flight plan but its just the Load button...derp. Im selecting the Before visual approach
April 29, 201412 yr Author which panel state do i use cause after initialising it doesnt add all the stuff before landing. Panel states are there. just dont know which one to use
May 1, 201412 yr Hi there, Might I suggest FSiPanel over at Flight1. I bought it a few days ago and it has been designed to practice circuits and approaches. It sets everything physical up for you, all you need to do on the NGX is set the FMC. It is great for those days when you don't have much time or when you want to practice approaches in different conditions. Just my pennies worth! Regards, Gav Gavin Lovegrove Gavin Lovegrove EGDL
May 1, 201412 yr How hard can be to take off, direct to initial approach fix, and then fly approach? Lj. Prodanovic
May 1, 201412 yr How hard can be to take off, direct to initial approach fix, and than fly approach? That's it. To the OP: On this video I explain how to fly an approach starting at the IAF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4kEzgR7yAA Or practice touch and goes. The main purpose of touch and goes is landing practice: http://youtu.be/LfJwKTRMkao I know that's the 777, not the 737, but the main ideas are the same. Besides, once you know how to fly one glass cockpit Boeing, the rest are pretty similar. May 1, 201412 yr IMHO, it would be a good thing to learn one addon, before buying the next one. B) What happened to AVSIM
May 1, 201412 yr Author Thanks guys! I'll be sure to check it out. Alpha floor, simbrief is a nice site that sets the whole route for me so I can have fun while learning how do it all alone. That is just a reply to the other topic. Thanks for the stuff guys!
