Will SP1 by chance address any of the freezing issues some users have been having? I know its being looked into, but I am just wondering what the status on that issue is.

Hmm..i thought it already was in beta...

I think i said somewhere that if we have it in June, we'll be lucky.

 

It's kind of annoying seeing a $89.99 product lacking patches for so many months (the ILS bug really irritates me) when other cheaper products see their issues addressed so much quicker. Even the NGX had SP1 coming out faster. Perfecting a product is ok and we all want that, but when it crosses that "too much perfection" line, it's bad, $89.99 of badness. We 77L owners might not want the 77W and no matter what PMDG says we're seeing the 77L patch delayed because of a new product they want perfect on launch day or because they want the SP1 to be definitive. Well, guess what, it might not be!

 

I see myself flying more with the MD-11 and 747 than with the 777. They're older and look worse, but work good!

 

I'm not trying to be dramatic here or similar, the 777 works good enough to be flown, it just doesn't appeal to me (yet) as much as other addons do.
