I really want to buy this product, but I would want the navigational info for Europe, as this is where I usually fly my GA aircraft. Has anyone yet bought, installed and implemented the (supposed) database from Garmin for this Flight 1 gauge? In one review they quoted a figure of approx £15 but the Garmin website makes no mention of a database for flight simmers using this Flight 1 (750/650) gauge, and the purchase price reflects real world use rather than simmulator use. I might just wait for it to be offered as a default load, but how long is that going to be ?

The Flight1 product comes with a full, world-wide navigation database. The terrain database however is limited to North America, as Flight1 is using the "Garmin Lite Trainer."

If you want to have the world-wide terrain database, then you simply buy the full Garmin Trainer disk and copy/paste/rename the full terrain database from the CD to the Garmin Lite Trainer's data folder. It is a very simple and quick procedure.

It definitely is easy to use.

I recently purchased the GTN750 for my FSX-SE installation, and started using it this weekend. I was expecting another learning curve - boy, was I wrong. This has to be the most intuitive product I've ever used!

I feel like purchasing the real thing, even though I do not own a plane :P  Now if I can just convince my financial manager (AKA wife).

then you simply buy the full Garmin Trainer disk

Hi Bill,

I'm trying to find the product you are referring to. Is this the same as the Garmin GTN PC Trainer listed on their web site for $25 USD? If not, would you provide a link to the product?

Thank you in advance,

Stevan
