That's my guess.

Anyway I'm wondering is there some sort of ini file like RXP so I can have the GTN750 info display on say the Carenado TBM's G1000?

It would be something along the lines of the RXP.ini files and LinkGPS=on which allowed me to view track info on default based G1000 systems like TBM.

I'm highly impressed with the new offering from Flight1 and look forward to hopefully integrating it into the Milviz line of GA aircraft as an option sometime down the road.

Hi Bill, you can contact me directly and I will assist you with an SDK

Jim, Bert, anyone else know how the charts are updated?  Are they just read from the trainer navdata file?

Also does the safetaxi just read from FSX files like the King air?

What navdata is used in the F1 GTN750?

Is the navdata updatable .. like navigraph?

Enjoy flying and happy landings.

Are they saying the main database contains safe taxi updates?

No mention there where the Navdata comes from?

... if it is updateable?

if a paid subscription is available, like Navigraph e.g.?

The data comes directly from the Garmin trainer. Unless you pay for a subscription or a one off update to Garmin, then you are stuck with the data that is included with the trainer, just like RealityXP was / is.

The beauty of using the garmin trainer is that you get basically 100% functionality. The downside, as with RXP, is the database.

It uses the same navdata as the GNS trainer - so if you have one, you can use it for the other..

Thanks Glenn and Bert for the follow up answers.

So, the current Navdata Cycle (date), as is available when purchased (downloaded trainer) , will be several years old ... like from 2009 or so ??

Question on the FliteCharts provided  - "electronic versions of AeroNav terminal procedures charts (US Coverage Only / GTN 750 Only".

Are these the older cycle date charts .. same date as the Garmin Navdata (several years old)?
