Apparently I can't quote or multi-quote posts....

Thanks admin for the friendly reminder, I have removed system specs from my sig line.

Thanks Ryan for the FBW/Trim confirmation. That's the only issue I've experienced so far.

Thanks alot for the update! Good to know you guys are struggling to make this bird so close to the real one.

Very excellent. I can't wait. Thanks for the update!

Oh wait...meant to ask. Will the update correct the odd FBW/trim behavior?

Yeah - there was a silly bug that resulted in the problems people were talking about like the trim not having any effect until the controls were released when the reference speed was higher than actual airspeed, that's fixed and the trim is working as intended now in both directions.

That is really welcome news! :-)

Thanks for the update Rob,, I am liking this 'new' PMDG that is very eager to solve bug reports, keeping us updated more regularly and bringing out updates faster.

It is very welcome and I would like to pass on my thank you!

a short question, do i have to deinstall the livery (777 and 737) bevor i Run the Sp1b?

Steffen, I believe Robert said that reinstalling anything should not be necessary for practically everyone.

Hi R&R,

Will the SP1b affect a saved flight?

 Thanks

^_^

It's not 'new', from what I can remember I believe PMDG did the same with the NGX.

Read this. It's clearly pointed out on the Rob's announcement.

This update will come to you in the form of a universal installer that is capable of updating either the original release version of the 777, or an installed SP1 version of the 777.

I will state this here and make it bold to make certain the point stands out:  There is no need to uninstall the 777 in order to update to SP1b, and any guidance along those lines is just wasting your time- so 99.9% of you will be able to simply download the SP1b update, run the executable file, and you will have a perfect copy of SP1b installed the next time you run FSX.
