Installing P3D and Active Sky Next?

Featured Replies

Can I just install my original file of Active Sky Next into P3D V2.5 or do I need an upgrade?

Thank you,

Howard

Look into Estonia migration tool - post in Their forums - if it was 2.4 I would say migration tool would work - in 2.5 all bets are off

Migration tool will not work. ASN has dedicated installer for P3D and another for FSX. You can NOT exchange them.

You ASN license covers BOTH the FSX and P3D versions so there is no additional charge.

Download the latest open beta version in the link provided above.

Is it still in Beta for P3D?

ASN with all the patches to make it run with 2.5 works fine for me on P3D 2.5 with the latest hotfix.  What do you mean by 'upgrade'?

I do not know about the weather radar - not using it.

Sorry I miss-read thought subject was referring to AS-2O12 - migration tool is useless for ASN - sorry

The 2.5 version is in public beta - very close to official release. it's solid as a rock so you should have no issues.

ASN build B5570 does indeed work well with latest P3D v2.5 12945.

Cheers, Rob.

I tried installing this and it says my license key is expired.  I have owned this for a long time.

Thanks a lot

You tried installing what?

Do not understand what the what is.

If you're talking about P3D, then get a hold of LM,

If you're talking about ASN, then we still don't understand.

Really don't understand you're final sentence, but you sound as if you are a little miffed about the help.

I tried installing Active Sky Next SP2 into P3D v2.5 and I get a message that my license is expired.  I cannot go any further.

Well, then maybe you should contact Active Sky's excellent support ticket system, or try at their forum - I'm sure they will help you there......

kind regards
