April 26, 201511 yr Hummmm good question.....and with what P3D settings at equal settings is it better or worse than the 777 pmdg... let's say 1024 texture, normal autogen

April 27, 201511 yr Are you able to have a shared cockpit (Multiplayer) with this like the Realair or has no one tried yet? Steve McNitt
April 28, 201511 yr at equal settings is it better or worse than the 777 pmdg... let's say 1024 texture, normal autogen I bought this bird yesterday. Here are my results: FSDT CYVR, ORBX PNW LOD 5.5 (Ultra) Scenery complexity: very dense Tree autogen: dense Building autogen: normal HDR = on Water = medium Shadow = medium Tessellation: high Texture: 2048 Total memory: 2.5 GB (the PMDG 777: 2.6 GB, Milviz i350: 2.5 GB ) FPS: 30-35 Take off and circuit at 1500 AGL: 45-52 FPS, memory = 2.1 GB I can bring down memory usage further with texture=1024 and LOD=4.5 (High) I also turned off Vector, but enable UTX. Overall the sim is very smooth. The VC actually looks better than Milviz, but that product is still alpha. Hope this helps. Are you able to have a shared cockpit (Multiplayer) with this like the Realair or has no one tried yet? Does RealAir have shared cockpit? April 28, 201511 yr Bought the B200 for P3D today and did one quick flight.First my setup: i5 o/c to 4.2, GTX970, SSD. P3D settings mostly in the mid range, nothing extreme. ASN + Orbx Global, default clouds, no Ai traffic, no addon scenery. For reference I get smooth locked 25 fps 99% of the time in the PMDG 737 & 777.In the F1 Kingair my FPS dips into single digit every 1-2 secs. I then turned off the "small map" in PFD and use Declutter - 2 on the MFD. That pretty much fixed the issue. However flying around I still get occasional FPS dips, making it somewhat a stuttering experience for me. If anyone can share some general performance tips in this aircraft I'd appreciate it. p.s. I have not checked VAS yet. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI

April 28, 201511 yr Having spent more time flying the B200 over the weekend, I find the framerate very acceptable in P3Dv2.5. For anyone interested, here is a short video of an ILS approach in foggy conditions with the FPS counter on to illustrate: http://goo.gl/WxZaVY Cheers, Jerome
