August 18, 20169 yr No idea on that Mike sorry, I dont have the updated/new feature list for v7. The handling of ATC in conjunction with airspace is not covered in the SDK at all, which is what motivated me to update the airspace definitions to see how that improved vox's operation Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
August 18, 20169 yr It has been a while since I last checked on VOX ATC for P3d V3. I am really pleased there will be a new version coming out soon, and I can't wait. I wish I had seen the bit about using the migration tool a lot sooner as I have been without VOX since I stopped using FSX and I am really missing it. That was when I went over to P3D when V3 first came out. <p> Paul Sleight
August 22, 20169 yr Hello Friends Has anyone found a way to use voxatc with FO in p3d v3. Please let me know. Thank you. Kind regards M.solanki3
August 22, 20169 yr Hello Friends Has anyone found a way to use voxatc with FO in p3d v3. Please let me know. Thank you. Kind regards M.solanki3 If you have successfully installed Vox into P3dv3 using the migation tool, then go to the Voxatc settings menu in the Windows start menu and choose which options you want, including FO if that is what you want. I only use Vox with the FO controlling the radio etc, so it does work OK. John Anderson
August 22, 20169 yr Hello, finally VOXATC v7! I can't believe. When will it be released? No telling. The developer is a little weak on the communication side.
August 22, 20169 yr Always have been. That concerns me about buying version 7 when or if ever comes out. Johnny Rosario
August 22, 20169 yr Always have been. That concerns me about buying version 7 when or if ever comes out. There was a time when you could email Tegwyn with a question or a request and you received an answer. In the last year or so that hasn't been true. It's not only bad business but it's rude to his customers. I could understand if there were life issues that prevented him from continuing with development or support of Vox, but how much effort would it take to put out a message on any one of the flight sim forums or even on the Vox web site? There's rumor of a version 7 but I'll believe it when I see it.
August 22, 20169 yr That's true, I remember the first time I had a question about where or how to buy his program, and he did email me. That was way back when, but now, you are right, is like no one is home any more. Johnny Rosario
August 23, 20169 yr Hello Thank you for your reply. Yes I have set to FO in the setting but I still have no joy. What am I doing wrong that I do not get FO. Please help someone. By the way I got news that Voxatc 7 will not be ready for release for another couple of months or maybe bit longer. Thank you Kind regards Mahendra

August 23, 20169 yr By the way I got news that Voxatc 7 will not be ready for release for another couple of months or maybe bit longer. I don't have any info re ETA for release, it will be ready when its ready. Bear in mind Tegwyn is basically a single dev and as I guess Vox probably doesnt provide a sufficient income to support a family on an ongoing basis, its likely that just like the rest of us he's working doing real paycheque stuff as well! When its done I'll buy it, lets not enter into wild speculation eh? K Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS

If they do do that it enhances their reputation and the punters have an idea of what's coming. However, not even replying to emails either is not good for a developer's reputation as it implies zero support. Agree with you re periodic updates, individual emails could get overwhelming for a single dev, would we prefer Tegwyn to reply to loads of emails or develop Vox?? Im not even sure theres much more info to be had that isnt available to us already? We know theres a v7, we know its being tested, we can infer the feature set is unlikely to change and that release will likely be sometime in the next few months. What more could we reasonably expect right now? Cheers K Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS

Cheers K I'm one of those funny people who believe that a company's (or developer's) reputation is made not on how they treat the customer before the sale, but on how they treat the customer AFTER the sale. Vox 6.52 has been out for more than a year and not long after it was released support basically disappeared and ended up being handled in this forum. As you stated, and I stated in an earlier post, life events happen be it family, job, or health. That being said, it's bad business not to take a moment to let your customers know why they're not getting support on a piece of software that they've purchased. I'm not talking about using VOX in P3Dv3. We know that was unsupported. There have been numerous posts concerning supported sims and all of that had to be handled in this forum by other members because they could not get any response from Tegwyn. I had hoped to see a version 7 of Vox as much as anyone, but I'm beginning to have major trust issues when it comes to this developer.
