October 25, 201510 yr Thanks Poppet. Appears to be working but I have a Objectflow error which can be ignored also the external aircraft views dont work. Best attempt so far. Any ideas. Thanks S If you have external aircraft issues, it is often due to conflicts in the camera definitions with an aircraft addon. If you look in cameras.cfg, you will see 3 entries for EZdok. Note the definition numbers and also the HotKeySelect= numbers. If you look into the aircraft.cfg files for the aircraft, you can see if there are any duplications. I always change the definition and/or HotKeySelect entries in the addon's aircraft.cfg file. I had this issue with A2A and Aerosoft Airbus aircraft. If it's happening with all your aircraft, I've never experienced that. Sorry. With respect to Objectflow, do you have Orbx airports installed and are you talking about the dialogue that pops up when P3D loads? Check for Objectflow entries in DLL.xml. Change Disabled from False to True. That will stop Objectflow from loading. I don't believe Orbx has updated Objectflow for P3D v3 yet. I have just done it now and it successfully installed into V3 without having V2 on my PC, but i used the Estonia Migration Tool, some folks don't like it as they say it causes problems, i have yet to experience these issues. Download and Install Ezdok 1.15 from here http://www.flight1.c...oduct=ezdockcam Using the Estonia Migration Tool http://www.fspilotsh...ool-p-3879.html Do Not run anything at this stage. Then update to 1.17 http://www.ezdok-sof...Update-1.17.zip Do Not run anything yet. Then get the latest build http://www.ezdok-sof...s/EZCA_1186.zip copy the contents of the update to C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA. Overwrite where prompted. I ran the "Config" from inside the EZCA folder and it worked perfect. That's excellent. Exactly what works. I made a comment about the EMT on another thread. That certainly does the job. I would certainly go with Elaine's take on the tool. She usually gets it right. My only concern was getting the messsge that EMT had to install a module...please restart Prepar3D, etc. That was probably my error. Creating fake FSX and P3D v2 environments is a lot of work. The new issue is that I can only seem to use it if the EZDOK tool is on top of p3d. If I try to use the mouse or keys in p3d nothing happens but if I bring up the EZDOK tool then suddenly it comes to life. So close and yet so far... any ideas what I need to do now? Scratch that... ran it as administrator and it jumps in to life. Thanks!

November 21, 201510 yr Thanks Mike, it´s working now! Also thanks to Fi5kuS, gfd and Flic1. How is it? I have a new build, and am tempted by this software, but really cant be dealing with having to pay for something that might work after 3 days if I haven't already broken the new PC installing it. also, given my luck, ill get it installed, and the programmer will announce the new Version 2. November 21, 201510 yr Yes works fine, the new update which is 1.187 this is the official update for V3. As you can see from the image it gives you a V3 option. But the old update 1.186 worked fine in V3 as well.
November 21, 201510 yr I know this has been beaten half to death, but really, I struggle to understand why anyone would want to continue with ezdok after Opus came out. Don't missunderstand me, I bought ezdok on its release and, although like many, got confused by its config settings, I still wouldn't sim without it. This until I bought Opus. Its just soooooooooo much easier to use. And IMO, also much better. It's sure as ***** better supported;-) Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

November 21, 201510 yr Phil, You are right about the quality of the Opus camera module. However not all of us use Opus weather. Opus' weather related camera effects are only fully realized when using the Opus weather program. I hope the EZdok developer will, at some point offer a version 2; with a sensible interface (that doesn't resemble a Rube Goldberg machine) and the remaining nuts and bolts tightened. If he does, it's all moot. EZdok's plumbing is good. If he doesn't and Opus decouples its camera module from its weather program, I'll switch in a second. I don't see Opus making its camera module fully functional with other weather engines. Whether it's arrogance or technical issues; I don't know. Perhaps the good folks at HiFi will create a camera program. I'm willing to bet that if they do, it will work with all weather engines. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM

November 22, 201510 yr Mine works but is constantly timing out with the 50sec error. Running the config tool always ask me to select the correct simulator. November 22, 201510 yr Mine works but is constantly timing out with the 50sec error. Running the config tool always ask me to select the correct simulator. For some reason it never saves and perhaps the reason for the timeout prompt. They are all running as admin. It's not a timeout. If P3D takes longer than 50 seconds to load, that message will pop up. You can time it yourself. If I can get P3D to load in under 50 seconds, which most of the time it does, I never see that message. If I reboot my PC, and the sim has to rebuild some cache, which lengthens the load time of P3D, then I see the message. Just ignore the message, and it will work normally.
