October 9, 201510 yr Have you checked for a GFX driver crash, probably flagged as a TDR (Time-out Detection and Recovery)? Along the lines of "Your display driver has crashed, but succesfully recovered"? Ian R Tyldesley

October 9, 201510 yr Author Really I dont want to do all this work to have V3 running. V 2.5 works very good. I might ask Lockheed for a refund then.
October 9, 201510 yr Commercial Member I had this happen to me once. I cleared my Shaders folder and performed a defrag. Just a suggestion but that worked for me. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
October 9, 201510 yr delete your P3D v3 user profile, start P3D again; on the warning screen that comes up select ignore!
October 9, 201510 yr V3 refund - not a good idea something else is going on as V3 is way better than 2.5 thats for sure hang in there and try to figure it out - also try what Chris has stated and delete your p3d cfg file might help but still think is something other than P3D Try a complete video driver cleaning and use the latest nvidia drivers they are very nice Rich Sennett

I read one problem after another. I am still waiting for the problems to subside before I join the beta team.

Bob compared to 2.5 its way better - 2.5 was not a friend of mine as a matter of fact I was thinking of taking up a new hobby but V3 changed that Rich Sennett
October 10, 201510 yr 2.5 isn’t issue free either; when you compare apples to apples; no one is going back to v2.5!

October 10, 201510 yr From the number of twitch streamers gone to v3 and they have nothing but praise. Looks like a winner. Seems to be a mix of Windows 8.1 and 10 users, too.
October 10, 201510 yr "Twitch Streamers" Every time I see somebody mention a live stream I think of that Jimmy Kimmel episode. I just don't get the fascination of watching somebody else fly around on a computer on your computer but to each their own I guess. Oh and I enjoy 3.0 btw. Sean Green
October 10, 201510 yr Sttuters and then freezes, doesnt even last 5 minutes. No addons Windows 7 Any ideas? I also get a 'freeze up' which is caused by the Saitek Cessna trim wheel. assigning it through FSUIPC4 is the only way I can avoid it, however I still need to ensure the trim wheel is active and responding in windows before starting P3D. from time to time I still get the trim wheel popping up in the controls. I also had a similar problem with my CH pro pedals, the brakes worked but not the rudders. bob
