"Light sensor" - what does it do?

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

let me first thank you for the 777. I am playing Flightsims now for about 10 years, most of the time only casual.

But P3D and the 777 - I love it.

Everything works perfect here with V3 but what is still on my mind:

Do you have any good link or documentation for what this "light sensor" window on the top left corner is doing?

I hate this thing on my screenshots

Best regards,

I find this thing very useful. If you click on it in FSX, it expands and when I hover my mouse over it, I gain a couple more FPS!!

The same thing happens if you take the mouse anywhere off the FSX window, or you leave it still so it disappears.

It's a minute white box on the top-left hand corner of your monitor ~ 1mm sq in size.

Not noticeable until you notice it. :)
