December 1, 201510 yr After a lengthy download, I got DCS ver 2.0 and the Nevada scenery. Took a quick spin around Vegas in the L-39 and a quick fly-by over Area 41(groom Lake). Shhh...don't tell anyone! didn't see any alien saucers though. Rob
December 1, 201510 yr Looking great Comanche, thanks for posting. Love the little city, plenty happening there

December 1, 201510 yr Should be out in Steam in a couple of weeks. So many great planes to fly, all immaculately modelled, beautiful

December 2, 201510 yr I think DCS 2.0 ( aka EDGE ) is the example of what ANY flight simulation platform should try to become. It's 64 bit ( I know XP 10 is too... ), superb attention to detail in flight dynamics, I can talk only for ED stuff, since I own the Mig21 but haven't used it yet... It makes superb use of the potentialities of your rigs ( I know P3D3 is doing that too, but still 32 bit... ) It's a study sim, but can be used in a more "open-minded" way too.... Civil flightsiming became so pointless to me after starting to dig deeper into DCS and IL-2 BoS ( which is yet another very positive Example! ) ... December 2, 201510 yr Splendid graphics, except for trees in middle ditance. Everything else seems top of the line to me! I've always been a closet DCS fan since the Lock on series. Guess I should get a new rig and then DCS... Sascha Rieger | EVO Developer What is EVO • How to get Evo 2016 • FS9 Evolution Forum
December 2, 201510 yr Rob, at Groom lake in one of the green hangars to the south of the air base there are some space ships But yeah, compare that to FSX, P3D and even Xplane sceneries and you get the idea of what a difference there is.I made a little video (with my 2009 cpu, hence why some stutters) Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
December 2, 201510 yr Just downloaded 1.5 and ran instant free flight looks great and runs not too badly on my laptop. MP is not working as I do not see any servers in the list. Maybe I need to do 1.9 GB update. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
