GTN 750 ?

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I was wondering if someone made a mod to get GTN 750 working on 1900D, like some did with the PC12 ? It would be great.... :)

Let me know please !

Siklid

Has anyone done this in Xplane 11 since both Flight 1 and Reality Xp are similar?

  • 2 weeks later...

Is there a way of completely removing or blanking the FMS area?

It's quite sad that Carenado hasn't gone back to this aircraft and actually updated the VC model to incorporate the GTN750/650 yet. The 1900D is one of their better planes when you don't use the "FMS" that simply ties into the default FSX/P3D GPS. Would be nice if they added such functionality but I'm not about to hold my breath. Thanks to wildtomcat and Bert for sharing this panel edit.

Hoping for a carenado sale soon to get this and the pc12. Is it possible to replace the default gps on the main cockpit as opposed to the fms screen?

Thanks!

Dan

You can put in an RXP GNS530.

Bert

Thanks Bert. Will check that out. Hard to stray from the GTN750 though 🙂

Some planes have GTN750s, others have GNS530s.. just like in real life

Bert

I am using the RXP GTN750. I cannot seem to get it to show up as shown in Stefan's post above. Is there more to the configuration than just copying over the " [VCockpit01] "?  I have tried changing  " gauge07=F1GTN!GTN750,  512,0,512,404,UNIT1.VC " To  "gauge07=RXPGTN!GTN750,  512,0,512,404,UNIT1.VC "  with no luck. I have also  tried Bert's        "gauge07=F1GTN!GTN750VC,  562,40,412,324,UNIT1 " , again, the B1900 FMC window remains. I must be missing something here.

No worries, just figured it out. I hadn't copied the above  " [Vcockpit01] " properly. Everything looks good now.
