Drzewiecki Design LUKK Chisinau released

Recommended Posts

Hi,

just as "heads up".

First impression: Rather like Tallinn than like Sheremetyevo.

Only problem I recognize after a short visit: My graphic card's problem with mipped textures.

Regards,

Harald

P.S. Those who use the SBAI Mi-8 package with heliports may experience an altitude anomaly at the apron. Setting the LUK1 heliport to the altitude of DD's airport solves that.

Moldova only crossed my radar because I installed some AI from there for UUDD.

I confess I had to go to Google to find it.

I suppose the developers do what's in their back yard, but really: NZAA deserves some attention in FS9!

WingZ, you are from New Zealand and so I fully understand your attitude.

But I'm from Eastern Germany...!

My birthday is coming up in 11 days, so this scenery will be my gift from me to me.

My apologies Harald, if I appeared a little rude!

Although there might be good reason: while trying to find where Moldova is, I read a little about it.

It has the most dreadful history of bloodshed and deprivation, and is the poorest country in Europe, I discover.

Flightsimming is educational, y'see... also, I discovered where Transylvania is/was: right next door!

No problem WingZ, didn't feel so. Thought myself that I was a little bit egoistic on that, sorry.

It's just that Moldova is one of these countries that perhaps somehow feel a little more interesting for us Easterners than for other people after the Soviet Union broke into parts. Chisinau is, for instance, a nice stopover on the way from Central Europe to Tbilisi or Yerevan.

......still waiting for them to complete their New York project for FS9. It was claimed that was to be released a year or so ago.

Shoot, I'd just be happy if they just released Teterboro .... at least something that no one else has done .... that isn't in a place that only has 5 flights a day .....

Just a heads-up: With AES 2.42, the scenery is AES-supported now!

Harald

Just done a test flight to LUKK. First impressions are that this is fantastic scenery! I love it!

It will feature heavily in my next vid.

Cool. An An-12 at LUKK is a classic combination. Looking forward!

I will be parking at the cargo apron which has the option of AES push to park which I will be utilising. Hopefully I will get something sensible as AES STILL  does not have the option of choosing which truck to use.!

The LUKK afcad has no approaches or waypoints. I should be able to upload one here with all waypoints and approaches in time.  :Nerd:

Chisinau approaches? - This is even cooler.

So LUKK will be my first aim when flying the Tu-134 again, after I end my current GA session.

Certainly a great destination for a Tu-134.

...and if you are too lazy to park. Here is push to park in progress.
