I see you've already experienced this so no need to confirm it.

Luckily I'm used to make a copy of the previous beta installation so I can safely (more or less, looking at the bug list) rollback the 10.50 to the beta 2.

  • Hehe, we see this very regularly when an update to X-Plane comes out.   People are seeing all sorts of things (framerate better/worse, clouds nicer/horrible, autogen better/worse). The mind is easil

  • Sorry, but I am absolutely sure, you are NOT looking at default autogen here, but instead at some other add-on scenery (w2xp, osm2xp or hand made). The buildings are too specific (they are models of m

Hope this is an easy fix, if just a directory was missing from the installer. It appeared very small to me after all. Surprisingly, I find myself to be much more patient with the update process of X-Plane than with others. Maybe because the devs are so open and communicative and really work hard to deliver. Anyway, more patience needed.

I just created the missing folders:

apt_vehicles  and  pushback  and put a dummy obj file named Tug_GT110  in it.

Yes guys ignore beta 3, it has a nasty bug which doesn't allow it to start up because of a missing file

I only fixed the bug by making world-models point to an empty object which doesn't exist

I did the same thing, error remains. How did you create the dummy file? Are you on a Mac? I just renamed a textfile (.rtf) to Tug_GT110.obj, and that doesn't seem to work.

I'm on Win10.

A textfile doesn't work you need an obj file.

I for one took an obj from an airplane I made in Blender.

For example you could take an obj from the default Cessna 172 objects folder.

EDIT: A simple textfile renamed to Tug_GT110.obj does work, but it needs to contain these lines:

Got it, thanks.

Is the lights bug gone?

Nifty solution. Just wanted to ask what Carlos asked. The beacon still looks a bit off to me. But it could be a consequence of using RTH.

PS: It's worth trying this little workaround. 60fps at LFMN, Challenger, 4K, sunset, photoscenery and world2xp. Didn't get that with 10.45.

Performance is stellar in 10.50b2+

HDR is still tough.
