September 5, 20169 yr Author I too have the old Aspen but have not purchased the new one yet. Really love photoscenery, you always deliver the best pictures. Thank you very much for commenting.....looks like the entire valley and city is part of the custom airport! The beautiful colors from real world! Nice as usual, James. Thanks very much...near Montrose is the Black Canyon of The Gunnison a great place to visit! Simply Great James! Enjoy all your posts! Just wondering what your preferred or usual altitude is for these shots? Many thanks for commenting......The high desert is about 4000ft so I flew about 13500ft until Montrose. To clear the12000ft peaks above Aspen had to make 15000ft.....did not get a good shot of Red Table Mountain this time....love to skim over Basalt Peak and get some red sandstone! HLJAMES
