September 23, 20169 yr For those who don't want to wait for PMDGs version, or get it at a cheaper price http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=weeklyspecial How is it btw? Regards, Perry
September 23, 20169 yr Bought it full price last year and already well worth the 60. And there's the no question ask refund of flight 1 anyways. Antoine Bidartarra
September 23, 20169 yr I have both their 737 and 747 both are nice and flight one's return policy is second to none. My only word of caution is that if your going to use in P3d that Ifly's support can be painfully slow. It took forever for them to release a p3dv3 compatible version of their 737NG and with that release they have ceased development. Which means if P3dv3.4 that just released, or any future releases ,breaks anything with their 737 your SOL. Who knows about the 747, maybe since it's a newer release they will support "future development" for a bit longer? That said I'm no longer willing to support them if there is a alternative product available from another well respected vendor who actively (punctually) supports it's products on an evolving platform that P3d is. I feel the difference in price is justified by this aspect alone. RE Thomason Jr.

September 23, 20169 yr Let me be clear, general support is pretty good. If you have a question about why "this" does "that" their forums are good and you can get help rather quickly. However, if you use P3d and a new update is released (like v3.4 that just got released) breaks or causes issues with their aircraft it might be awhile before anything gets done about it. September 24, 20169 yr Commercial Member Blaze, What you say is not exactly true. It does not mean that if 3.5 comes out of P3D and we needed to tweak it, that users are out of luck. Upgrading from 3.4 to 3.5 is not the same compared to 2.0 to 3.0. What me mean is the code base for the product is mature in its current form. That new feature sets would not be applied as that has already been done to the maximum level on multiple occasions. But if it was a basic code fix to make something compatible with P3D 3.5, then we would not be smart to not address that. Thanks, Steve Halpern Flight One Software
September 24, 20169 yr What is holding me back is no access to the ifly support forums until after purchase andso no way to scout out the product. The refund is nice but I want to know what I'm getting into first. As opposed to the PMDG support forum which is wide open.
September 24, 20169 yr What is holding me back is no access to the ifly support forums until after purchase The reason for that is quite obvious  I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

I read too many posts during the better part of a year waiting on P3dv3 support that basically tried putting the blame on LM for releasing too many updates, moreover; when I read admins basically telling patrons we should be thankful they're updating the product at all etc, etc it became clear to me that I had made a poor choice on what I bought... twice. BTW no need to ask me to prove or cite what I just stated because I see where those past threads have been sanitized and purged from the Ifly support forum...probably for the better. RE Thomason Jr.
September 24, 20169 yr The reason for that is quite obvious :wink:Not really. PMDG products are just as open to piracy abuse but they wisely keep their support forums open to the public.
September 25, 20169 yr Commercial Member Would a better option be we do away with our 30 day refund policy? There is a balance, and we have stuck to our 30 day policy because we believe it serves the customers the best. Thanks, Steve Halpern Flight One Software
