At least it is more effective, because in flat areas the mesh has less triangles, but where they are needed (in mountainious areas) there are more. alpilotx may have written already some more details somewhere, but now as he is out in the real mountains, it may take some time until he chimes in :wink:. My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...
