May 29, 20179 yr Yes you can transfer over all of your settings by renaming the ini fiie from 4 to 5 (per a post by Pete). No word on discounts or price for WideFS. BTW, If I am Pete I would charge full price, the guy is constantly updating this thing and has been doing so for a decade. We are very lucky he updated for this version and if he gets a nice pay day out of it then good for him. Mark CYYZ

May 29, 20179 yr Agreed, Although I was the one who brought it up, I too would not for a second begrudge Pete the full price and more The more money Pete gets the more vacations he'll take and the more V4 updates we'll get
May 29, 20179 yr Does FSUIPC5 works with WideFS7 ? Vincent B. Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

Cheers, Ed I use it mostly for custom controls/calibration of my yoke, throttle and rudder, some custom buttons on the same as well as a few LUA programs I run. I think some addons like LINDA (which I also use) may require the paid version. Remember the free version is still available for free if you have dependent addons like aircraft. Mark CYYZ

I have my controls setup using their own proprietary sofware (in my case TARGET) or even directly in the simulators. Still using a LUA script for VAS alarms (under 500 MB available) with FSUIPC, but with the advent of P3Dv4 I don't see any need to continue using it. May 29, 20179 yr Commercial Member Not having FSUIPC v5 for P3D v4 was a serious concern brought up last week and it is great to see that this will be available for this new platform. I truly hope that this will be "the" platform for most FSX/P3D users so third party developers can start to create v4-only products that can utilize the new capabilities offered within P3D v4. May 30, 20179 yr I use FSUIPC to assign profile for each aircraft I fly (A320,737,777,747, PA44...). By using the same yoke, same joystick, same rudder pedal, same quadrant I can use multiple profiles which is very handy. I also use it to optimize AI traffic, must have! Those features are not in the free version am I correct? I have never used the free version so I'm not sure what it brings.
