June 1, 20179 yr Moderator Since I have all my controllers mapped through FSUIPC I was having a tough time flying the "old" way. Looking forward to nstalling v5 tonight. Doesn't really need saying but Pete is one of the good guys, what he gets out of FSUIPC doesn't come close to what he puts in in time and effort - always willing to provide help and advice quickly. Pete has given more to this hobby than any one else here. Either way, we don't need you in this forum and I am 100 percent sure that most members will agree. Way to reply to a rude post with another rude post of your own. Real classy...

Vic While I have supported him with the previous version, I'm ashamed to say my little available time has made it so I couldn't really play with it a lot. Isn't the ability ti map everything in P3D? Or do you mean to actually have multiple profiles and such for different planes, etc? Or to put it naother way, can you recommend a few good uses I can do whe. (Hopefully) I start to play with it? (After I buy his new version of course).

To me the single most important feature of FSUIPC is the ability to map controllers to individual aircraft profiles. I have a SaitekX55 stick/throttle, a CH Throttle quadrant, CH Yoke, CH Rudders all plugged in to the system. When I pick a stick or a military jet or a light twin prop - all my keys and controllers are set up for that plane immediately. Plus the ability to map custom keystrokes to specific functions that you cannot do natively in P3D. If you only fly one type of a/c all the time, those functions would be less important. I use SPAD.next for all my Saitek equipment and create profiles for P3dv3, P3Dv4, and X Plane 11 and they automatically switch to the correct profile regardless of what sim I'm running or aircraft, you might want to check it out. It's a pretty amazing replacement for Saitek equipment and also pairs well with VoiceAttack and has it's own Text to Speech. Vic I think that-s exactly what I would use it for... I have from Saitek a Yoke (for now), 2 throttle quadrants, a switch panel and a trim wheel, coupled with Crosswind pedals. and on the side a Warthog HOTAS. Guess I have a lot of reading to do... Thanks.
