Uninstall then replace the new cfg files with the old ones. Hope this helps someone :D This works as the uninstaller doesn't actually delete the texture folders, just the aircraft.cfg. What if there were changes to the aircraft.cfg. Now you just advised users to replace the new changes with the old. Unless PMDG recommends this I say it's not good advice since this is an update and not your typical reinstall. July 2, 20178 yr Thanks for the update PMDG. Having spent ten years away from FSX and the new P3D until the last few months what has happened to the flight sim communuity. It has turned into a bunch of spoon fed zombies unable to think for themselves or trouble shoot anything. Cant do this unless said to..cant do that until told to. I'd hate to put some of you people in the left seat of a real aeroplane and have to make real decisions not just whether its safe to cut and paste a portion of a cfg file with no risk involved. I feel sorry for PMDG and some of the questions they need to answer many of which are so basic that they should never make it to a forum. Good work PMDG and have faith there are some users out there with the ability to think for themselves left in the world.. Cheers! . Darren Howie

The OC will handle this for you automatically if you run it prior to uninstalling the old version, and then again after installing the new one. Doing it your way is not advised because there are sometimes changes to the aircraft.cfg file that you'd be overwriting with an old version. If you really want to do this manually for some reason, you would need to copy just the [fltsim.x] sections of the old cfg (excluding the PMDG House liveries) and then paste these entries into the new aircraft.cfg after installing the new version. I did uninstall the 777, as required, after having deactivated my product first in FSX. Any ideas on what I should do? Same here...no change on the T7 update. Looks like the Boeing 747-400 is under 3.00.8377. I don't have the 777, so can't help you there. 777LR/F is version v1.10.8378 Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

In both the 747-400 and the 777-200LR/F, we made only a couple of very minor changes to the product itself: Elimination of a sound-device related CTD that was affecting some users. July 2, 20178 yr Working fine with the triple and Queen after the update other than the FPS issues with dynamic lighting is back as expected. With the now removed update i had zero impact of dynamic lighting now im back to 16-18FPS from a base of 40-50 after the last update prior to rollback at Sydney 34L. Prior to the rollback I had zero issues with the 777 or 747 lighting on or off but now the FPS has tanked with dynamic lighting. As expected just wondering the need to tank everyone's install on the dynamic lighting front when only a few where affected? Looking forward to getting the 747 and 777 working well again. July 2, 20178 yr Good evening Gents, Thank you for the Update. I installed prior to the registry fix. Will some magic occur via the updater to reconcile the version in the registry or is the fix a download of full installers again? I did not want to download 1.8GB of data for such a small issue unnecessarily given the aircraft are actually the correct versions. Kind regards, Mark Wagener
