Yes, I noticed that they have no disassociated themselves from the Coautl engine, and have their own desktop menu. But oddly enough the GSX services ran okay with other aircraft such as PMDG, and Majestic's Dash Q400-8. Now, as Flightbeam instructed the uninstall of the pre V2 version, I'm just wondering, as you allude, Steve, whether there is a hook-up Nevertheless, I'll uninstall and re-install GSX to see where this goes. I'd try just running the FSDT live updater which is supposed to keep all their products up-to-date and see what happens. October 24, 20178 yr Author Okay, tried your suggestion, Steve. Uninstalled GSX and the Standalone Addon Manager. Ran the FSLA320X Update to version 215, and fired up the sim. Guess what? CTD caused by ntdll.dll. That pesky dll seems like a limpet mine that never wants to go away. I think I am going to give up this game of silly soldiers and give away all my purchases and quit flightsimming altogether and stick to Train Simulators!!! Rick Almeida

October 24, 20178 yr Author Okay, after 3 successive CTDs caused by that ntdll.dll, not knowing what to do next, I deleted the Prepar3d.cfg and let it rebuild it self. Re-booted. Re-started P3D, let default Irish F-22 spin around, then opted for the FSLA320X. And it went through its thing and lo and behold there it was on the default airbase. But still dead as a dodo. I did let that Runways DB.bin run at the top but it just flashed off after a few seconds. I have left the A320 stuck at that airbase and will wait for 20-30 minutes to see if it does that DB.bin thing. Now somebody had posted here that I could uncheck the airport add-ons. So, did that. And guess what? The FSLA320X default paints, IAE and CFM just disappeared from the Select Vehicles !!! Boy, if I was confused what was happening beforem this is even more baffling. Now, I am going to try re-installing the A320, and if this works, I am buying the drinks in the E-Bar on E-Street Rick Almeida
October 24, 20178 yr Author This saga goes on................... When to re-install the FSLA320 only for the installer to say it is already installed. No, it's not it is not showing in Select Vehicle of I start with Admin privileges or without. So, deleted P3D.cfg, let it rebuild. Uninstalled A320/re-installed. Noticed the standby AHI under centre Regn Plate come on briefly then go off. as it went through that DB.bin message. Then zilch, still the same. Well...................... Rick Almeida

October 26, 20178 yr Author Comrades/Fellow Aviators Is this a crazy world or what? Have done nothing to my 'dead' FSLA320XX since my last post. Support have sent me ticket messages about which AV I had, etc; uninstall AV/Defender(don't have)---done, no difference. Re-install AV. No further contact from them. Okay, then move to the MJC Dash Q8-400. Great flight. Done for the day. A few minutes ago, go to start P3Dv4.1, and out curiosity I went and fired up the FSL A320 fully expecting a 'dead' aircraft, and 'Jumpin' Jehoshaphat', there she is all lit up, engines running, etc. You could blown me away with a feather!!! I just don't know what to say! Thanks for all the suggestions/tips.etc. Rick Almeida
